STORY TIME // The first stop on my road trip brought me to Castlerock Beach. Making my way to Derry for the night, I had no timeline other than that. I was truly able to do whatever I wanted. I told myself I could walk the beach for 25 minutes but as I walked, I found the urge to “keep walking.” With each bend I came across higher and higher tides. Risking it, I waited and watched the waves and would “just go for it.” After two rounds of completely soaked shoes and a bit of laughing at myself, I came across a sweet old lady and her rescue pup. They were the cutest pair and their names were even cuter 😊 I told her my story. She told me how brave I was, but also was worried for my safety as the tides were rising. She insisted on giving me a lift back to my car because I had walked an hour down the coastline 😬 #castlerock#northernireland

Started the day out in the pouring rain, taking a carriage through the gap of dunloe. Heads up, they will try to make you pay more half way through then agreed upon at the beginning of the ride. After that we drove through the ring of kerry and by the time we hit Skellig ring it was beautiful out! #ireland really is unpredictable and absolutely gorgeous. Only 2 more days to go!
