I know i know, lately I've been posting pictures of sunflowers a lot. But can you blame me? They're so striking and demand attention! So here's more photos of them 😂
See the power pole in this picture? That pretty much marks a front corner border to our property; and yesterday I came across a rather whopping ass snake right there.
I saw the snake as I was on the ride on mower, attending to this area which I let grow longer than I should have. This photo was taken a few days earlier, my boy having fun with a remote control car. Clearly I look back now and cringe and squirm at the thought of letting him play in the long grass here. We normally stay on top of it better and we normally don’t encourage play in long grass. Total wake up call and definitely going to up my mowing game even further from now on.
🌿Good morning from Bath. A bee throwback to last June. We are missing these little guys as although January has not been so bad so far, spring feels a long way off! Have a great weekend. Stay warm. Video by our Tom🌿
It’s a little bit drizzly over here so today I am going to pay a visit to the plant store in the search for a nice indoor floor plant. Plus, of course, to drool and torture myself a little over all the other things I’ll want to buy but must resist!
[pictured is one of my favourite garden ornaments/ pots -an old cement mixer I found at the garbage tip -oozing with gorgeous patina. I just love it!]
🌿Good morning from us all in Bath. We are in the thick of pruning season and this wisteria is coming up to be completely rewired and renovated. It flowers profusely twice a year and the scent is off the scale. This is the 17th century wing of a Georgian rectory that we look after and the wisteria was a mess when we first started but has recovered well with careful attention. Have a great day despite the gloom 🌿
