“Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of possessions.” (Luke 12:15). In the parable of the Rich Fool, the message portrayed is not that God doesn't want us to save for our future needs. Rather, it is all about priorities. It is about who is truly God in our lives, how we invest our lives and the gifts that God has given us, and about how our lives are fundamentally aligned: toward ourselves and our passing desires? Toward God and our neighbor? Or toward God’s mission to bless and redeem the world.
Where do your priorities lie?
When you realize YOUR ONLY LIMIT IS YOU, you become unstoppable. You take full responsibility for every situation that happens in your life. You begin to take control of your life and create the path that is meant for you
I speak from experience. It blew my mind when I realized this, it is amazingly empowering ⌚✔
Today I was watching my oldest as he prepared for a band retreat.
It dawned on me so much of parenting is creating a space for your children to show you who they are. Providing them opportunities to explore their interests.
He is really enjoying and has a natural talent for music.
I had no clue. So grateful for these kids and the lessons they teach me. ❤️
