I am probably one of the most aspirational people. I am extremely passionate about so many things and have a drive to achieve so much. However, I have had many setbacks recently. I find it difficult to control, but only because that is something we cannot control. We cannot control when we get sick, mentally or physically. We cannot control when we lose people. These things happen when they happen, and it causes us to have to postpone deadlines we’ve set in our heads. It causes us to have little control over when exactly we will achieve our goals. But whilst these things happen, we must learn to be patient. Just because it’s not the right timing now, it doesn’t mean you won’t ever be able to achieve something. 💗

The best way to predict the future is to create it. One goal at a time.
Today marks the first day of the spring semester. 🌻
It’s a clean slate and a new beginning. 🙂
I love fresh starts.😍
They provide us with an opportunity to pause and think about how we want this new chapter to unfold. 🤔
They shake us out of autopilot and get us trying new things. 🙌
Admittedly, fresh starts can feel overwhelming - even scary at times.😱
But they offer room for change. 💞
They offer room for growth. 💞
They offer room for opportunity. 💞
How do you handle fresh starts? How do you embrace the clean slate? Let me know below! 👇
Can I get an AMEN! 🤯 This is so true in so many different aspects of our lives. I’m an eternal optimist so I choose to see opportunity every where I look. Double tap if you agree with the great @drwaynedyer 🙌🏻
On the flip side of feelings, know that sometimes you won’t feel like your achieving that big goal that you want but I believe that if you are being committed and consistent to your goals, you should celebrate. You should honor the progress that you are making. This will allow you to see how far you have come and will likely provide you with the zeal to keep going!
Type YES if you agree!
“I have noticed even people who claim everything is predestined, and that we can do nothing to change it, look before they cross the road.” - Stephen Hawking [January 8, 1942, Oxford, United Kingdom March 14, 2018]⠀
What do you think? Is everything predestined, or are we the creators of our own life? Or something in between? ⠀
Stephen Hawking as an English theoretical physicist, cosmologist, and author, who was director of research at the Centre for Theoretical Cosmology at the University of Cambridge at the time of his death. At the age of 21, Stephen Hawking was diagnosed with ALS. At the time, doctors gave him two and a half years to live, but they were very far off. Besides being one of the greatest minds of all time in physics he was also known for his great sense of humor. “Keeping an active mind has been vital to my survival, as has maintaining a sense of humor,” Hawking said in a 2013 documentary. “I am probably better known for my appearances on ‘The Simpsons’ and on “The Big Bang Theory” than I am for my scientific discoveries.”
You only fail when you give up. Failure after failure is part of the process that brings you closer to your goals. What brought you down yesterday, made you stronger today.💯

One of the things that helped me when going through my divorce was getting in the water to surf. Living in Hawaii, I am fortunate enough to be able to do it pretty much daily but for those days when it is too big, too small or just too not right for me, I would get on my mat and do #yoga and #meditation instead.
I did not use to deal with #heartbreak this way. Quite the opposite. My favorite ways to deal with #pain were drinking, smoking and getting chaotic with my eating. But one of the #blessings in disguise that divorce brought was the realization that I needed to make healthier choices or my kids, myself and my ex were going to suffer unnecessarily.
Wherever you are in your journey, make sure that you take care of your body and mind by doing something daily that restores you. You need a break from the sadness and hardship that a divorce might bring so find an activity or sport that can get your thoughts away from it all. You will speeding up your #healing and your #divorce process will benefit too. Mucho love, Olga ❤️📷@Samkat
