In fact, the bolder, the better...." @poojasal shares the experience of attending her cousin's wedding in India. See thebuzzmagazines.com for her article and more beautiful photos.

TRUTH or MYTH: INDIANS REACT TO STEREOTYPES 📺
INDIA – BROKEN ON THE ROAD TO THE TAJ MAHAL
It is early morning. Crippled beggars litter the pavements on either side of the approach road to the Taj Mahal. Just before the tourists arrive in their air conditioned coaches, a small army of uniformed men wielding long batons chase these unfortunates into the deep ditches and undergrowth so as they will not be seen. The smiling tourists drive by and wave at the grinning uniformed men who wave back.
This less glamorous and far more prominent side to India is seemingly unnoticed and seldom reported. For me, the totally broken human being sitting below an equally broken electrical switch box on that road epitomised ‘modern’ India.
