Rajasthan, India. This little girl was very shy and would not move away from the railing on the front entrance to her home. She and her mom did allow me to take her photo, however, so long as she didn’t have to move to a different position. I thought she was so sweet.

For a year my backpack has been my home. It is liberating not to be attached to a specific place. I also loved the process of getting rid of all the stuff I accumulated for years and go back to a more simpler life.
TRAVELLER : When travelling you just learn to be more open-minded, open-hearted and tolerant. You see a lot of things you would never had guessed were possible and you meet a lot of people with different cultures, habits, languages, opinions. It is amazingly instructive, positive and challenging at the same time. Also, curiosity is required, and the capacity to adapt and be comfortable in a changing environment. After a while it just becomes your own comfort zone.
INDIA : For me everything is in relation with my spirituality and evolution as a human being and a soul. This trip is giving me the chance to go deeper in my spiritual experience. I am absolutely passionate about Yoga and Ayurveda, so when I decided it was time for me to commit to learn more about the whole philosophy, I wanted to go to the roots of it.
Is there a better way but to learn it from people who have been impregnated in this culture forever ? It is also about taking the time for this philosophy to infuse in my being, both in my mind by studying and in my body by practicing.
I am a freelance web writer, so I work remotely. I also have a blog www.truehappyself.com about Ayurveda, yoga and alternatives therapies to be able to share my passion as I truly believe it gives all the keys for a better life and self.
Pali, Rajasthan, India. A man at a morning Diwali celebration at the spectacular Chanoud Garh palace hotel before a much larger celebration that night. The men of the village came to the palace in the morning to join a group of friends to talk, smoke and enjoy one another’s company. It was special to be invited to witness this intimate event, complete with permission to take photos of the participants. I love the colors of this man’s turbin!
