There's this girl who met me some 8 years ago and even today is always there when I need her the most. We live so away from each other... You can say in two different countries, yes! She's married, she has a cute kid. She is so occupied with her family. Yet, whenever I feel low, she's always at a distance of a call... One single call. ❤️ Ayesha @esh0623 has met me for the least number of days and even today, I find in her, a friend, a guide, a support for lifetime.
She's the kind of friend who has been with me from my first heartbreak to my greatest problems regarding life and career.
This message is to show my love for her.
Ayesha, I love you so much honey. You are one of a kind. ❤️ - from Swarada @d_arcane_pneuma
In these times of #metoo and stories of sexual harassment, there are also women and men around us who made us feel more beautiful, more confident and powerful from both inside and out.
If there is such a person in your life who ever made you feel so about yourself then wait no longer and share your story too. Let us pay a small tribute to her/him here @shespeaksforthechange.
We all need such people around us afterall, don't we?

A year back, on the same date 13/12/17, I had written and published this on Instagram.
I thought to share it again with you. Because, I love these lines. And thought you would also love these words.
I was on a solo trip at Goa. It was my first solo trip. I spent a week there, all alone. Knowing and exploring the inner self and the outer world.
I spent days by staring at the waves 🌊 of the Colva Beach, Goa, and sometimes dipping in the pool of water and the ocean of pain, as if I wanted to cleanse my inner self or just want to keep the inner demons away, loving the sun, and waiting for the moon and for the moment where its first light kiss me at night, while the waves did the talking all the time.
Listening to them is all what I did, and I did learn the art of listening.
The waves said many things in silence, and undoubtedly, something profound. Something about myself that I didn’t know. Something that I still don’t know—but I strongly felt it.
I also discovered a truth for myself — any kind of pain is like water — it can either cleanse you within if you learn to swim in that ocean of pain,
you can let it drown you.
And in the middle of all this, out of nowhere, when I was taking a sunbath, I wrote these few lines.
she never looked stunning.
she was like water,
water wasn't supposed to look stunning;
it was supposed to quench the thirst.
In silence, away from the world,
she quenched my soul's thirst —
slowly, steadily, selflessly.
she's my holy water - Sumit Asrani
