No matter what we think and feel we are channels for fire, for healing and Grace. When a woman is in labor she could care less what she looks like—there is maybe fear and definitely pain, but there is also something more important and unstoppable going on. It’s courageous to be a servant of humanity, and also so natural and life giving. For some of us serving others is a BIG part of self care and rebirthing. It keeps us connected to the why.
I’m so grateful to be in contact with so many brave and kind souls. Thank you. I see you, and if you’re in a hard moment before long both eyes will be wide open or softly closed with tears of gratitude streaming down your cheeks again. 🌸💦 Re-Birthing the Creative Self Retreat for all who want to delve deeper into self-acceptance and service—this January in Mexico with @oops.infinity.again in the beautiful @maharosenyc retreat center link in bio and will be a part of Power of Love training if you wish—reach out w any questions!
There are few always” or “nevers”, but your aloneness and uncertainty will be required during a new phase of life. Sleepless nights will illuminate not just your anxiety but the will in you to create. Of course we don’t want to feel bad all the time and that surely isn’t the point. This is why in the absence of what was, a fresh faith begins to emerge. Not too soon, just at the right time. And not according to our wishes which does have the opportunity to help us become more forgiving, sincere, authentic, humble, compassionate and creative beings.
Hate laces? They can be difficult at the best of times, and cold hands aren't very lace-friendly! These brilliant magnetic laces are a smart, practical solution. And they won't break the bank!⠀
Great for adults and children, and available in a range of colours: they can blend in or stand out! ⠀
Let’s have a conversation about what gender really means, and how we can support all people who identify as transgender and non-binary (not definitively male or female).
Let’s stop pigeon-holing our children too, let’s give them a choice about what they want to wear, be called, identify as - it’s not our place to define them for our own comfort.
Let’s talk about respecting people’s choice as to their pronouns too. Whether it’s He, She, They, It or something else, this is how someone wants to be referred to. Please ask, and respect this choice.
A good place to start this week is by recognising that gender isn’t a pair of tick boxes, or even a few tick boxes, it’s a sliding scale, a spectrum, and are each free to choose where we might fit into that spectrum - or not. Labels only disempower people, let’s allow everyone to explore their gender for themselves, not for our benefit. I’ve been learning so much about gender, and I’ve got so much more to learn, let’s have these conversations and show our support: we care, we hear you.
Team SIF have been busy refining their telescopic guide dog harness. They have now constructed a working prototype using aluminium piping and complex 3D prints! Sif's team also had the privilege of working alongside Patrick Glines, Chief Instructor & Program Development at Seeing Eye Dogs Australia, to better understand the needs of guide dog users and the market. Stay posted to see what the team develops!

I’m making the change. 🙌🏽
Victoria secret is old news and Aerie is my go to. All though (not going to lie) while Aerie is trying their best to be #bodypositive I’m really, really hoping they get their clothing sizes to be more inclusive. Their clothes are pretty good, but I can’t fit into their bras and I’m the biggest size in their undies. While I have the privilege to shop in @aerie other plus sized women can’t and it breaks my heart. I’m hoping that Aerie soon will expand their sizes so other women and I can walk in feeling positive and empowered in a brand that believes in us. But I’m proud with Aerie’s messages and work they do - but let’s expand more! -
Thankful for brands that aren’t afraid to embrace bigger women, WOC, trans women, disabled women, etc. That being said I bought 7 for $29 panties at Aerie for the first time! For the past 10 years I’ve bought my undies from ONLY @victoriassecret but I can no longer support a brand that doesn’t support me (plus sized woman) and other plus sized women and trans women. If you believe in change, you must sacrifice old things that you love for new things. I can’t support a big brand (that’s shitty, overrated and overpriced anyways) that doesn’t support ALL womxn. There are SO many inclusive brands that are out there to be supported. Tag your fave inclusive brands ⬇️. ❤️✨

At MB HQ, we make gear that’s all-inclusive. We have gear to support powerlifters, weightlifters, crossfitters, bodybuilders, ball players, fighters, you name it. Our gear is for the any level of athlete, because you’re never too STrong to have some kind of injury or pain. That just comes with improvement in your sport. And we’re here to support you as you progress.
We made the Sling Shot Knee Sleeves to hold up to the rigors of any strength sport, so athletes like @ncapurso22 can worry more about her training and less about her joints, by providing mild compression and warmth to the knees.

We often forget that culture is human made. We make/made culture, not vice-a-versa. Also, like everything else, culture too needs to upgrade from time to time. It needs to evolve. And for that we need to put in work. We must constantly question and modify this culture we create to ensure that’s it’s always inclusive. At all times we need more people inside of it than sitting outside, feeling alienated. #culture#society#wemakeculture#comics#inclusive
