WHOLE MILK VS SKIM MILK
When it comes to nutrients of concern - there's very little difference. No matter if you are choosing whole milk, reduced fat 2% milk, low-fat 1% milk, or fat free milk, the amount of protein, vitamin D and calcium are equivalent. The primary differences between whole milk and skim milk are taste, and fat content........
Wondering if there’s any value in reduced-fat dairy? The simple answer is yes, particularly if you want to curb calories....But you must also keep in mind what are you replacing the fat content with. .
Regardless of whether you choose to skim, low-fat or full cream milk, you’ll reap nutritional benefits from all. They are all rich in vitamin D, vitamin A, calcium, phosphorous, riboflavin (vitamin B2) and vitamin B-12

We have lived in our house coming up to 10 years now and have almost finished our styilized minamlist garden. Before it was just minamlist. ( a clever way of saying some weeds and dirt 😁 )
As we were gardening, I thought about how much life has changed in just 10 years.
Just me. Married couple. Family.
Single. Wife. Mama.
I have loved watching my children grow and learn, but I'm realising that just as much as they have change, so have I. All for the better. I've learn to let loose and be myself, kids teach you a lot.
I hope to keep changing and learning in the next 10 years, but one thing will probably stay the same, gardening is not my thing 😉
Lemon essential oil. It's so basic, but I freaking love it💛. I use it for tons of different things AND it's one of the oils included in the premium starter kit😍. Here's a few ways I like to use it👇 🍋LEMON
▶️1-2 drops of Lemon in my glass of water every morning. It helps my body detox, and tastes effing delish😋. This also helps keep that fire burning dragon🐉 in your throat at bay. 4 real, it does a body good.
▶️I mix Lemon + Peppermint in the diffuser when I need a little energy boost. This combo helps me get motivated to do dreaded house work, which of course, I effing loathe🙄. Ain't nobody got time for that.
▶️Cooking.When I make homemade salsa, tuna or chicken salad, even french toast, I always add a drop for a nice burst of flavor. ▶️Removing kid tattoos. Put a drop on the tattoo, rub it in and wipe it right off. Easy peasy lemon squeezy😁
▶️Removing anything sticky from any surface. When you buy something and the stupid sticker won't come off🤦♀️. Also, my kids get carried away with stickers sometimes, what can I say🤷♀️. ▶️Seasonal stuffy issues😧. Lemon, Lavender, and Peppermint mixed together works wonders. This combo is LEGIT. I either diffuse them together, or put them in a roller and roll right on sinuses, wrists and back of neck. You can also make capsules to ingest.
▶️Laundry, I add a drop to the washer to help brighten my whites.
▶️I mix Lemon and Thieves in a spray bottle and use as a degreaser. ▶️Thieves tea. I make this when my throat is starting to feel scratchy, icky and gross. (Thieves tea = Hot cup of water, 1 drop Thieves, 2-3 drops Lemon & raw organic honey to taste). It feels super good on my throat, and gives me an immunity boost.
Seriuosly guys. Whats not to love? All of these uses and NO toxic chemicals involved. U already know, that's what I'm all about these days. When asparagus is in season, I am truly in heaven💚one of the many reasons why I love living in the country & in a great close-knit farming community, having a great bunch of farming friends with the similar motto where “sharing is caring”, we know the likes of others and when there is an abundance, we gladly share... I’ve just finished cleaning and sorting and blanching so I will have a stash in my freezer this winter ....I am so thankful 💖
a few reasons why we should eat asparagus are:

I read somewhere that women with a higher intake of berries appeared to have delayed cognitive aging by 2.5 years. So it's like your brain is 2.5 years younger if you're eating berries! 💙💜💟 That's why I added even more #berries to this 👆 #proteinsmoothie. By the end of this weekend I'm planning on having a brain like a 20 year old.😂 High five! 🙌🏼

The only shots I willingly take these days are those that have health benefits and my new fav is fire cider. 🔥 Fire cider is especially good during cold and flu season (which is still going strong RN 😷) as it's an immune-boosting apple cider vinegar tonic that is infused with fresh horseradish, ginger, turmeric, garlic and onions along with other herbs and spices. The base is ACV so of course I love it, but Isaac is hooked on it now too. 💛 .
