Scenes from the local markets in Hue, central Vietnam.
📸PhotographyTip: Local markets always feature on my list when I’m photographing a new destination as, apart from brimming with color and photo opportunities, they are distinctive to the country - by the food, the activity, what people are wearing and, of course, the faces.
I generally do three sweeps, with three different lenses (all fast). My 17-35mm, for the wider market shots, my 200mm for the closer opportunities of people I identified earlier (this pic) and my 55mm for texture shots of produce and patterns.
A long exposure from the beach at St Kilda. Some interesting clouds with the sunrise shining on the boats in the marina made for some nice features. Nearly time to go home, I'll see what I can find before I head back to Dorset, UK 😊
