I just spent two days at @HersheyPark with the family. You know how it goes at amusements parks- sweets and treats at every turn from candy 🍭, slushees, kettle corn🍿, ice cream🍦, cotton candy dippin dots, soft pretzels 🥨 and much more!
So here’s the question: If you were to indulge in only one thing, what would it be??? My answer: A chocolate dipped apple 🍏hands down.

There is no better food than homemade food 🥗 pictured here: sea bass🐟 avo, lettuce and peppers salad &&& PLANTAIN! Finely cut and fried 💕 and of course, white rice 🍚 I haven’t had it since December but it is an staple in Ecuadorian dishes.

Just when I think I’m ready for fall, I have a kickass day drinking rum punch in the sunshine
Hosting a brunch or just want to amp up your breakfast? This simple breakfast tart is a great way to add some flare! Not to mention it includes bacon for national bacon day!
1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, divided
2 Tbsp green onion
1/4 cup bacon, chopped
Dash of sea salt and pepper
1/2 Tbsp butter, melted
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2. Lay out puff pastry and roll edges over about 1/2 inch. Using the back of a fork, press to seal together.
3. In a small bowl, combine the eggs, 1/4 cup cheddar cheese, green onion, bacon, and salt + pepper. Stir to combine.
4. Take 1/4 cup cheddar cheese and make a boarder along the fold to hold the egg mixture in.
5. Gently pour the egg mixture in the middle of the puff pastry (if a little leaks outside of your cheese barrier, that's ok!). 6. Brush the outside crust with melted butter and bake for 20 minutes (it will rise quite a bit but fall to a normal level when you take it out of the oven!)
The egg mixture will rise while in the oven and settle when you remove it from the heat.
You can easily make this recipe your own! Change it up by adding sunny side up eggs instead -- make little wells with the cheese and crack an egg into it.

Hot pot last night, all you can eat for around $19. I believe its only $16 on weekday nights which is quite a bargain, lunch is even cheaper at around $12. My go to items to order to cook are beef slices, squid, beef tripe, quail eggs, fuzhou fishballs, taro, and enoki mushrooms. The food is pretty fresh for this price level, very good bang for your buck.
If only you could have seen my kitchen last night. 3 pots on the stove, one pan in the oven, 4 turkey burgers on the grill and 3 bowls of frozen veggies thawing in the microwave. Plus no one seemed to tell me I had a mustache on my face from downing Opti Greens like it was my job 💁🏼♀️ Some would call it’s dysfunctional. And to be honest I am thankful my roommates haven’t disowned me yet 😅 BUT these are the nights I look back and am so thankful I busted my booty to get the prepping done. The hectic process of meal prepping for 3 hours to make the other 6 days simpler for me is completely worth it.
Goals are met by putting in the work! I destroy my kitchen for about 3 hours Sunday night so that when I wake up the next morning, all is easy and simple in my world. My food is ready, and I can be ready to attack the day.
Also, can we talk about this combo? 😍
