Delicate primroses are the perfect addition to any flower border, planter or window sill.⠀
They bring instant cheer and colour with low maintenance. ⠀
We loved this delicate buttery lemon colour, and it looked even better in the sunshine this weekend ☀️
On it’s own cause there’s been no cake making these last few days 😬 really hope everyone is feeling settled and maybe as full as we are right now.
Back to the bakery tomorrow open on Wednesday but for now a little wine in the garden happiest holidays..
If you haven’t been living under a rock for the past several years, then you’ve heard of Banksy and even seen some of his work. But did you know that the famous Well Hung Lover is actually the first legal piece of street art in the UK?
Following an online survey held by Bristol City Council in 2006, 97% of the city’s population voted to keep the mural and grant it with permission and protection.
Even though the council stated that this was an exception, Bristol now is bursting with street art. It’s literally everywhere you turn! Murals have also become a tourist attraction for hundreds of thousands visitors each year.
What’s your favorite street art piece you’ve seen?
Right, because tonight’s previous Photo Of The Day was actually WALES (amazing - feel free to steal, @igersnewport), here’s another beautiful (BRISTOL) shot, which I’d saved as my 2nd choice. 👌🏻
Cracking pic of the Gorge by @jadenecarey! 👏🏻
Thanks to everyone who’s tagged us today... special thanks to those who’ve tagged actual Bristol images. 😂 @porthjess 🌈 #igersbristol
Hope you’ve all had a really lovely long weekend! 🍻
We’re on the banks of the Severn for today’s Photo Of The Day. Beautiful shot from @richmccluskey. 👏🏻
Back to planning meets this week (🙌🏻) & hoping to plan something special which takes in this view! @richimal_bristol will be back with you tomorrow.
Enjoy the rest of your evening! @porthjess 🌈 #igersbristol

The meet this weekend was pretty daunting to me. On events like this, I always want to make a good impression with everyone I meet which sometimes takes over my thoughts / actions (I didn’t start snapping for a good half an hour into the meet)! But the issue that seems to cross my mind (regardless of the situation I’m in) is that I always, ALWAYS feel that I need to prove to MYSELF that I can take photographs & that I know what I’m doing.
Since posting the first photo of the meet, I’ve realised how in my head I’ve been! I’m always quick to compliment and compare myself and work to others but I NEVER sit back & think that maybe, MAYBE I’ve done a good job as well? 👏🏼
So from now on, I am going to try my best to BE MORE CONFIDENT IN WHAT I DO & LOVE THE WORK I CREATE 🥰
Thank you everyone so far who has either liked my images, sent me a comment or a private message. I really can’t thank you enough for the little sparkle of confidence I needed ✨
