Checking out @pervertedicecream, the latest ice cream shop that opened in downtown Vancouver (on Thurlow by Robson). Loving @pervertedicecream's unique concept with their fun cheeky names (for store & ice creams) to the dark interior decor to their play on words. They sell some branded merchandise like tees, water bottles, photo frames and more. "Perverted" is not what you think it means (not in the sexual way). Rather, it combines the Latin word "per" meaning "thoroughly", and the Middle English word "verte" meaning "to turn". Actually quite an appropriate and quick-witted name for an ice cream shop selling soft serves!
The shop is really small, with no seatings, other than one lone chair in the back. But that's not a problem because I'm sure many people wouldn't mind eating their ice cream while walking along Robson (provided the weather does not get so hot that your ice cream starts melting on the streets 😅). The shop can fit approximately 15 people. From the entrance to the order counter is about 3-4 people, so if you see a short line forming outside the shop, don't worry, it's won't be a really long wait.
The waffle cones are made in-house and are iconically black, matching with the shop's dark theme. These cones are very popular and have been running out, so if you want this, I suggest going early in the day. Be sure to check if they have cones when you order, because they served my ice cream in a cup without telling me that they were out of cones. Yea, a little disappointing!
Also ensure to grab a stamp card and start collecting your way (6 stamps) for a free ice cream.

When your boyfriend thinks you love ice cream more than him .. 🍦💔 So ungefähr ging es das ganze Wochenende bei mir 🙊 Süßes hier, süßes da. Aber hallo? Mein Lieblings - Frühstücksladen hat einen Pancake nach mir benannt & in Köln gibt es lauter tolle Eisdielen an jeder Ecke! Und dann das Wetter momentan ☀️ Da kann mich auch nicht mein nörgelnder @niclasjulien von abhalten alles zu probieren 😅 Hoffentlich bringt er mir später Popcorn aus dem Kino mit .. 🍿😂 In unbestimmter Zeit werde ich mich wohl wieder bemühen müssen weniger Zucker zu essen 😌 Vielleicht mal eine Woche komplett auf Zucker verzichten? Hat das wer von euch schon mal gemacht 😳 Ich sage ja immer zu meinem Knopf, dass ich zuerst einen Thermomix brauche, damit ich bald lecker und gesund für uns kochen kann 🤭 (hab gesehen man kann sogar Eis damit machen 🤫) Wie auch immer Carmushkis, wir haben aufjedenfall unser Wochenende sehr genossen und sind bereit für neue Abenteuer! Hey guys 👋🏼 hope you’ve all had a good Monday. A got a quarter marathon run in (thinking of signing up for my third half?), made some strawberry pecan crisp, and laid outside to soak up a little vitamin D. The Celtics play tonight, so I’m pretty pumped for that too 🏀
ALSO I tried adding dairy back into my diet a few days ago, and I’m most definitely intolerant to it 😭 which means I’m staying dairy free but I don’t think I could ever cut ties with ice cream permanently, so I’m thinking of getting Lactaid supplements to use on occasion. Has anyone tried them? Let me know! I’d love to be able to have some black raspberry ice cream STAT 🍦
