When you try holding in a smile 🙊☺️ the Mile High Club cocktail at @townhallohc is the BEST! I get the @altapalla peach flavored sparkling water with the @tequilaavion mini bottle. It’s perfection! 🤗🙌🏻
And now for something completely different... This was a part of a promo shoot done at the awesome @creativehousestudios in Cleveland. Not, only do they have a fantastuc green screen studio, but their Studio B is an excellent location for smaller shoots and photography. Check them out!
The streets around Progressive Field have been relatively quiet since the passing of the “Sax Man” — popular street musician Maurice Reedus Jr. — last winter. Until now. This gentleman was entertaining Indians fans before today’s game with some of the same tunes made familiar by the Sax Man. He stopped performing to allow me to take his picture. PLEASE READ! I posted this on my story yesterday and received amazing feedback in my messages, so I figured I’d keep the conversation going below! 🙏🏻 This clip is from two nights ago… (it’s in real-time)
This may be an unpopular opinion, but I think that the strength and beauty of Chaturanga has become a lost art. Power and hybrid classes may have something to do with it, but so do we as teachers. WE NEED TO STOP TEACHING KNEE-CHEST-CHIN AS AN ALTERNATIVE/MODIFICATION/VARIATION! Because it’s really not. It’s so far off from proper Chaturanga alignment and technique that I wonder how it even became its alternative/variation?? I think that it prevents the student from building any type of proper shoulder, core and leg strength and wrist mobility and alignment that is needed for Chaturanga. So when I have a student who isn’t quite ready for full Chaturanga, I tell them to lower their knees to their mat and then slowly lower the rest of their body with their elbows in, against their ribs, just like an assisted pushup. I find that this helps build their shoulder and core strength and keeps their spine in proper alignment for full Chaturanga. If you’d like to further discuss, whether you agree or disagree, then let’s chat below! Thanks to everyone who messaged me yesterday to continue on with the conversation! Both students and registered yoga teachers all seemed to be on the same page with me ❤️ If you love knee-chest-chin, I’m not saying to stop practicing it, but maybe just practice it as an isolation asana. 🤗✨
Final flow of my 20’s tonight! (Well, part of it 😅)... It was emotional. It was sweaty. It was fulfilling. I’m ready for this new decade that I will be entering tomorrow. 30 just sounds and FEELS right 😉😘😌🙏🏻💜 beautiful music by the talented @fracturestunes “It’s Alright”
