Salmon and Prawn Pie! Found this recipe online from a house and garden magazine. Quite easy to make with minimal ingredients. Lots of pans used though! Always a bit of effort making fish pie but always worth it, especially when at least one of my children enjoyed it ☺️😍
I love new beginnings.
Spending time on the road meeting potential new clients, seeing old houses breathing again and estates and gardens being given new love.
Not every one is going to be a perfect fit for me and that’s just fine. But every so often there’s that spine tingling moment when I know that a collaboration is beginning which is going to create a really special place.

Paid a visit to the Beldi today- an incredible home by @chanandeayrs and one of my favourite commissions of 2018. 14 pairs of linen shutters with soumak detailing, each panel woven entirely by hand. A truly mammoth project but worth it for the end result 🙌🏻 swipe for more details
The Beldi is now available for short stays- visit @chanandeayrs for more info.
Friday morning scene. January organization in full swing while my studio work is still in progress. Tackling paper. Pinterest and print fully coexist as inspiration sources for me. I cherish my notebooks, filled with magazine clippings, my own photos, sketches, swatches and whatnots, collected and curated from my life and experiences over many (!) years. Not minimalist. However, in Mari Kondo” speak, these “spark joy.” As does the little restaurant ware coffee set pictured, and of course... bright flowers at home on a grey day. Happy January. #decor#tulips

Have you met Julia Kirkham yet? She has signed on to be our guest garden designer for the charity launch lunch on Wednesday, Feb 6th and we are thrilled!
Julia is a sought after private and corporate garden designer; working predominantly in London and the Home Counties, Julia has worked with Christopher Bradley-Hole and Ginny Blom at Chelsea Flower Show, is regularly featured in the media, is a Horticultural Adviser to the BBC, has appeared on Who Owns Britain’s Best Home and Garden with Lawrence Llewelyn-Bowen, and has recently worked as a flower stylist for a book on Monet published by Harper Collins in New York. Wow, right?
So...have you bought your tickets yet? They are only £35, and 100% of the proceeds go to the Chiltern Center for disabled children. A perfect excuse to ring up a girlfriend, put on your best dress, and come to the lovely Phyllis Court club for lunch. Go to our Facebook page under events, or make a comment below and we will send you the sign up link. It is going to be very posh.
If you obey all the rules, you miss all the fun. |

Love this #ProjectAracadiaSouthern from @jaimeeroseinteriors. 💫When I think of #thenewsouthern aesthetic, I think of this. A little bit of trend, a lot of classics, and filled with unfussy beauty. 🌱🖤 Particularly loving the hidden butler’s pantry with that stunning marble backsplash + antiqued mirrored tile + brass hardware + open shelving + the Hicks pendant. Happy Friday & happy scrolling, y’all! 💃🏻
