A succulent plant belonging to the Iceplant family. It grows tiny hot pink flowers which open during the day then close at dusk. The flowers are apparently edible but I’m yet to try it!
L I K E S - a super flexible plant to grow inside or out. Frost isn’t an issue here in Melbourne however, that’s one thing it doesn’t like and it can survive a drought.
C A R E - no need to fertilise however I add some compost soil every few months. Just trim the plant as needed throughout the growing season and water every few days.
G R O W - mine started from a cutting. I simply potted it in the pictured planter box and it took off straight away, growing quickly - in a spot that gets a lot of sun. Use as ground cover, hanging plant or an indoor potted plant (mine seems to tolerate low light). If growing from seed, plant in summer ☀️
R A T I N G - an extremely easy plant to grow from a cutting. I just love the hot pink flowers but just wish there were more of them. ✔️I score these plants:🌵🌵🌵/5
Fast growing + easy to propagate + very low maintenance + great contrast in colour with the green & pink #plants#plantsofinstagram#loveplants
I'm highly flammable
A burning mystery
Put your match to my chemistry
We'll light this story up
My shadow she dances
Pulls me to my knees
I'm begging darling, please
She says she'll never let me go
She's not meant to be a caged up animal
Full of ferocity and rage
Your energy swirling with my burning sage
She's just as scared as me
Connected we'll always be
I shine my light so bright
She's still present even in the darkest night
My shadow, she's powerful
Wonderful, colorful, beautiful
Committed to my light
She wants me to know her with all my might
She won't be ignored
She demands to be heard
She's seductive, tempting, attractive, addicting
I'll dance with her always
Weaving our knowing and compassion
I see her glow
I'm so grateful for the depths of my shadow self. Falling in love with her is the purest mystery of love.
