Churros, a crunchy sugar-sprinkled fried pastry is found all over Spain. They are normally dipped in chocolate (thick hot chocolate) and is a breakfast favorite among the locals.
Some say they were the invention of nomadic Spanish shepherds. Living high in the mountains with no access to bakeries, the Spanish shepherds supposedly created churros, which were easy for them to cook in frying pans over fire. Lending credibility to this version of history is the fact that there exists a breed of sheep called the “Navajo-Churro”, which are descended from the “Churra” sheep of the Iberian Peninsula; the horns of these sheep look similar to the fried pastry.
Today is World Plant Milk Day! @weareveganuary are asking everyone to post their plant milk favourites so here is mine, whether it’s a hot chocolate or iced cold one this is my go to drink after dinner. This is a take on @healthylivingjames chocolate and peanut butter milkshake but with hazelnut milk and almond butter...it’s so yum.
Make a person's day by preparing him or her a cup of heart-warming hot cacao drink with just 2 easy-to-grab ingredients: plant based milk and unsweetened organic cacao powder! 😋
We also love adding in a teaspoon of organic coconut sugar to our cacao drink to give it a hint of sweetness. Truly simple yet delicious!
The cacao is just like a chemical powerhouse, which are a good source of iron, magnesium, theobomine and calcium. Besides boosting our energy and elevating our mood, the rich bioactive flavonoids in cacao also bring positive health benefits to human due to their great antioxidative effects too. Yum!

DOUBLE TAP FOR CHOCOLATE
who needs to see this!🙋🏻♂️
Which is your favourite chocolate craving!?👏🏻🙋🏻♂️
Chocolate will always be a craving for me, and I make sure I plan a night or two per month where I enjoy some dark chocolate with a new movie!🙌🏻
The more dark you go the better off you are from craving more and more. It’s a bit bitter but once you cut out the sweet milky chocolate and beautifully tasting white chocolate you will be able to eat more chocolate and binge less!👍🏼😲
The more disciplined you are with your diet the more you will enjoy tasty chocolate and not feel guilt and shame. You enjoy chocolate less and less if you eat it every night. Plan a night to enjoy some chocolate strawberries, or really any fruit with some melted warm chocolate!👏🏻
If your goal is fat loss then of course I would suggest to stay away from any cravings early on when you first start. Build up some will power and stick to your tasty fruits. Move on to dark chocolate once you hit solid momentum and can fit it in great with your daily calorie goals!👊🏼
Eating chocolate will not make you gain massive amount of excess body fat in one night. Binging on chocolate on a daily/weekly basis for the next two/ three months might put on a few pounds if you put yourself over your calorie goal. It’s up to you.💆🏻♂️
Comment your favourite type of chocolate, and tag your chocolatier friends!🤳🏻
