O H H O N E Y 🍯 🍌 Starting off my Sunday a little sweeter today by whipping up a batch of chocolate paleo protein pancakes. Haven't made these guys in a long time, but I decided that today was the day to play around in the kitchen and finally perfect this recipe.
M I X:
🍌 1/3 of a banana
🥚 1 egg
🍵 1 scoop of chocolate protein powder (I use @genuinehealth )
🥄 1/2 a tsp of baking powder and soda, a dash of almond milk, and a drop of 2 of rum or lemon extract
F L I P: on low heat with coconut oil for about 2 minutes each side 🍋 My grandpa is a beekeeper so honey holds a special place in my heart. Yesterday I picked up a new golden wildflower honey at a Farmer's Market and honestly, it was a solid addition to my breakfast. Light in flavour, smooth & sweet. 🌱 On another note, this month I'm back on Intermittent Fasting after several months of bouncing around my health goals. My fasting hours range between 15 and 22 and I like to keep it flexible. My aim is to keep this up through the Fall and break my fasts with healthy, balanced breakfasts like this one. Hello Autumn 🍃
