The girl across the street is outside dancing in the storm again. This time I find myself watching her as she prances through the squishy wet grass, jumping in mud puddles; dirt forming abstract pictures on her calves. She looks free and I’m almost positive she is.
My mom comes to stand next to me on the porch, her hair a mess of unkempt curls, her feet bare. She closes her eyes and breathes in the metallic scent of the Autumn rain before turning to look at me. “Girls like her were born in a storm. They have lightening in their souls, thunder in their hearts, and chaos in their bones,” she says smiling, and I can see the girl she was before forever resides inside her eyes. The girl she was before my father snuffed out her flame.
I look back at the girl across the street and as she dances and laughs, I wonder... One day will someone try to tame her wild? Or will they learn to dance with her? •

These are two variations of the Meadow Row. The first one targets your lats, the second one targets your rear delts, traps, and rhomboids. This is primarily determined by your elbow placement
Notice how in the first exercise my elbow is closer to my body, and in the second exercise it’s flared out at a 90 degree angle. Just that one small change can hit a different area of your body. This is one example of how elbow placement is critical in just about every single upper body exercise
