Crunchy almond butter cup are my new obsession 💫😋✨
Sweet, crunchy and creamy all in one bite 🤘🏻 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
4 oz bar dark chocolate with hazelnuts (or just use plain chocolate and add a few nuts)
1/4 cup almond butter
Pinch of sea salt
Chop up the dark chocolate hazelnut bar, make sure that the nuts are halved at the largest.
Melt the chocolate (nuts and all) in the microwave in 30 second intervals.
Scoop about a teaspoon of melted nutty chocolate into each paper cup, using the back of a spoon to push chocolate up the sides of the cup.
Once the bottom & all sides of each cup are coated, refrigerate for 10 minutes.
Scoop some almond butter into each cup, smoothening the top to be flat. Refrigerate for ~20 minutes
Finish them off by sealing the top with melted nutty chocolate and a sprinkle of sea salt. Refrigerate for 10 minutes, then enjoy!

🍌Grain Free Banana Muffins🍌
1 cup coconut flour
3 over ripe bananas mashed
1/4 tsp sea salt
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup organic butter melted (unsalted)
1 tbsp vanilla extract
2 tsp cinnamon
➡️Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
➡️Mix together coconut flour, sea salt, baking soda and cinnamon in one bowl
➡️In a separate bowl combine melted butter, mashed bananas, eggs and vanilla
➡️Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix well.
➡️Pour the mixture into a lined muffin tin
➡️Optional: sprinkle with coconut flakes or chocolate chips (I used a few Enjoy Life brand, dairy free).
➡️Bake for 24 - 26 minutes, until muffins are slightly firm on top
➡️These are to make 12 large muffins.

hey guys, i’m alive 😊 haven’t been around much lately, life’s been a bit of a drag and i honestly didn’t have the time or energy to post. but i’m coming back with this amazing quick dinner ➡️ whole wheat penne in a homemade tomato sauce with spinach, sautéed mushrooms, white beans and feta cheese 🍝 i cook big batches of penne and keep it in my fridge so i can have a nourishing dinner ready in under 10 minutes! little things to make our lives easier 💫 hope you all are eating well and loving life lately, and thanks for sticking around 💛
Today I stumbled upon this spot while looking for something to eat in Virginia Beach, VA ...Clean Eatz @cleaneatzofvirginiabeach , the environment was chill and non judgmental ( for those whom are afraid that clean eating places are all judgmental) and the food is INCREDIBLE AND SOOO DELICIOUS 😩🤤. Everything was as fresh as it could’ve possibly been and packed with great flavor ! I had the Grecian Wrap -shredded beef, lettuce, red onion , banana peppers, mozzarella with CE Grecian in a whole wheat wrap🔥🔥🔥🔥
The second wrap was a hammerhead!
- Salmon, turkey bacon, spinach , guacamole w/ Cilantro lime sauce in a spinach wrap 🤤🔥🔥

First thing decode the menu! Before choosing your meal take note of the descriptive words with each menu item. Adjectives such as creamy, fried, breaded and rich often mean that a dish will be higher in calories and fat. However, steamed, sautéed, grilled, baked and roasted often mean the food was prepared by a cooking method using minimal added fat. If the menu item is unclear don’t be afraid to ask the chef how the item was prepared and what ingredients were used!

Grilled Apple and Cheese with Roasted Tomato Soup
Oven on 400 - roast cherry tomatoes, carrots, yellow onion, garlic, and a red pepper. Season with salt pepper and avocado oil. Roast about 20-30 min or until it starts to get a little char on the pepper.
Dump the baking sheet with veggies and all the juices into a stock pot. Add chicken broth and bone broth. I made a turkey bone broth. Recipe below.
Bring to boil then let simmer about 15-20 minutes.
Use immersion blender to blend together.
Option to add some almond milk but I thought mine was creamy enough.
Bone broth - add 2 carrots, 1 onion, 2 stalks celery, 2lbs bones, peppercorns, salt, and herbs of your choice to instant pot. Cover with water just to cover everything. Cool manual high for 120 minutes. Natural release. Strain and let cool. Skim fat from top.
So after taking Saturday and Sunday off from gym/running it’s Monday & back to business 💪🏽 Post 4 mile run meal🏃🏻♀️ And week 2 of my attempted lifestyle change. 👍🏼
I honestly already feel a huge difference, might just be all in my head 🤷🏻♀️ But I’ll take it anyways. 😊
Ohh and this garlic, herb and wine marinated chicken breast I made came out🔥🔥🔥! With some oven roasted red potatoes & steamed broccoli.🤤
