Menurut Senior Director, Worldwide Nutrition Education and Training Herbalife Nutrition, Susan Bowerman, modal menghadapi masa penuaan adalah melatih kebiasaan makan sehat dan berolahraga. "Makan adalah kebiasaan yang bisa kita latih rutin setiap hari. Di antaranya melatih menentukan porsi dan memilih jenis makanan padat nutrisi," kata Bowerman dalam siaran pers.
Membangun kebiasaan makan yang baik memang tidak mudah, apalagi dengan makin beragamnya jenis makanan yang terlihat lezat namun sebenarnya minim gizi. "Setiap kali kita membuat pilihan makanan yang tepat, berarti kita telah tegas pada diri sendiri untuk membangun kebiasaan makan yang baik. Ini akan berguna seumur hidup," ujarnya.
Jika kebiasaan makan baru diubah saat mulai muncul berbagai gangguan kesehatan, menurut Bowerman, hasilnya biasanya gagal.
Bagaimana pun, tak gampang mengubah kebiasaan makan yang sudah dilakukan berpuluh tahun sebelumnya.

Today, I wanted to share how far I have come since making a lifestyle and diet change back in September this year. These 2 photos were taken 3 months apart. .
On the left, was taken on September 3. In the right was taken a couple of weeks ago on December 2nd. At the time, I had completed my third 30 day program in a row.
The results speak for themselves. In the first month, I shred 3.7kg, and 28cm. Most of this was water weight. Month 2, I started going to the gym 2 to 3 times a week, and lost another 3.3kg, and another 5cm. Month 3 saw me at the gym 1 to 3 times a week and dropped another 3kg and 8cm. In total, 10kgs and 40cm has disappeared!!! .
Looking at these 2 pictures next to each other, I was shocked to see the difference. Shocked in a great way. I knew I was feeling healthier. I had a LOT more energy, noticed that I wasn't having mood swings, and my adult acne had cleared up big time. I'm also sleeping soo much better too. Which means no longer feeling fatigued. As a result, my previously non existent self confidence is starting to grow. .
Weight loss wise, I'm half way to my goal weight. I'm on a mission to shred another 10kg and be at the weight I was when my now husband and I met 9 years ago. In time, I know I will get there.

had heard so many good things about @eatbychloe so me and my friend finally decided to go last saturday and WOW! I had the pesto meatball sub and it was a 10/10. unreal! way better than meatballs made of actual meat in my opinion. the fries were not salty enough for me (that’s probs my problem though lol I eat too much salt) and got cold a little quickly :( but overall I had a fantastic meal and I’m 100% coming back!

Had an odd little weekend as I was so so busy so wasn’t really on plan but didn’t go over board. I would be more than happy with a maintain this Thursday. 4 days to try get some weight off but holding out no hopes.

Often when we eat out, portion sizes can be large and who knows what extra ingredients have been added to make our dishes as delicious as they are? 🤔 Here are 3 tips to support portion control when eating out! 🥘
1️⃣ Try sharing meals with friends. This way you can each try out different meals and flavours, it works out cheaper 💵 and you can be in control of how much you serve on your plate
2️⃣ Order and build from a smaller portion. When I go out for brunch there is always the cheaper ‘eggs your way’ 🍳 served with toast and you can add extra ingredients as you please 🙌🏼 giving that control on portion size.
3️⃣ Practice mindful eating. Take the opportunity to eat slowly, enjoy every bite and to listen to your bodily cues. Honour your body by stopping when you are full and satisfied. 😌👍🏼
