|| Spotlight || These two Oils are currently getting a work out at our place! Cedarwood is one of my favourite oils to diffuse at night time along with lavender to promote feelings of relaxation. It’s also a natural insect repellent and can help with skin imperfections.
Eucalyptus is harvested right here in Australia. I’m sure most of my fellow Aussies are very familiar with this smell, and probably associate it with winter when we need a little extra respiratory support. Eucalyptus is not only great for helping to open airways it’s also great for cleansing the air and odour elimination. Place a few drops at the bottom of your shower if you are feeling a bit congested.
Did you know that our clinic is also a home to other types of healing practitioners? Our newest addition to our clinic is Nancy from @wellbeingwithnancy ! She specialises in Aura-Soma therapy. What is Aura-Soma?
The beginnings of Aura-Soma are a truly remarkable story. It began with the inspiration of Vicky Wall, a retired surgical chiropodist, living in a small village in England. One evening in 1983, Vicky had a vision in meditation to create colour products. As Vicky recalled the blending of those first radiant bottles, she said: “I only know that other hands had guided mine”. Amazingly, Vicky Wall was blind.
Margaret Cockbain, an acclaimed cranio-sacral osteopath, had worked in partnership with Vicky. Together they dedicated their lives to helping all those who came to their clinic. Aura-Soma can lift your spirits and bring the joy back into your life.
Did you know that colour has been proven to be a most effective emotional enhancer, like golden sunlight on a cloudy day? It helps you to feel better about your situation, and even more, it helps give you insights, motivation and creative solutions.
Quite simply, Aura-Soma colour gives you the power to transform whatever situation you are in and to see yourself in a new light. If you are interested in a treatment with Nancy, get in contact with her at [email protected]
I want to get my nose touching the floor on these ones👃

Today we Thrived! Some of the crew is away but the fitfam showed up and showed out! 💃🏽
❤I love what Carol created for her and her family through our program!
"Top 10 differences between these two photos: •96 pounds gone.
•Irregular heart rate gone.
•No longer winded when doing light activity.
•No longer consuming supplements.
•XXL and maternity jeans to XS and small.
•No longer forcing a smile.
•I can take pictures with my family.
•I can wear clothes without changing ten times.
•I am preventing long term illness, like diabetes.
•I have the energy to play with my children.
I could go on for days, but I'm almost positive at least one out of these ten differences will relate to just about everyone. These photos are only 8 months apart. I would encourage you to consider how different your quality of life could be in a very short amount of time by taking one step, not a flight of stairs, in the right direction!"

Im never cutting apples ever again!! Shout out to @islandninja for showing the way. Thank you zen master! 💪🙏
Friday motivation. 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽 Try and make a conscious effort to keep your goals in mind when making decisions (food, alcohol etc) this weekend. You will never get where you want to be if you keep taking steps backwards 🙄 In saying that, get outdoors and enjoy yourselves. Have a good weekend 😊
Bringing back the lettuce wraps because they were just too good🤤🙌But, Let’s talk about stress.... yep... I get stressed! And I mean REALLY STRESSED! So many of you ask me how I stay happy all the time and the answer is I don’t! And that’s the beauty of life! You are suppose to feel allll the emotions! Right now I have a bunch of school assignments and test coming up. But, what I have found that helps me is exercise! Even just getting out the house for 20 minutes to go for a walk clears my mind and gets me ready to work. But I’m still not perfect! Sometimes I am overly sad, overly dramatic, angry, happy, frustrated, etc! What are some of your favorite ways to release stress? I could use every single one right now! 🧘♀️🦋🌱By the way this eat plants and chill shirt is from @vegetaryn ! (Use code- youngandvegan for special discount🤫)! P.s thank you to @plantifulsoul and @rawalignment for inspiring me to eat more raw foods! I’ve been bouncing off the walls with energy! Would you like a diet update soon? Let me know🌱🌈💕
Week 17 | Meet Magnesium, Melatonin and CBD: For When You Need To Just Fall Asleep or Lower Anxiety and Stress: “Just as the sun is starting to set, the gap between the hopes for myself and the reality of my life start to diverge so painfully”.
I heard that quote on a Ted Radio Hour podcast once and I think it most perfectly summarizes Sunday night and the Sunday scaries - you know, the dread that comes and keeps you from sleep at week’s end.
In week 5, I touched on the dangers of raised cortisol levels and the damage high stress levels can do to your body. This week I discuss supplements including magnesium, melatonin and CBD to help you chill out, especially when you’re trying to get to bed and worry is all but welcome. For example, did you know because of our increased consumption of refined foods and several other reasons, in the past 50 years, ”magnesium intake has plummeted while rates of anxiety have skyrocketed. In fact, the correlation between magnesium and anxiety is so strong that researchers can intentionally induce anxiety in lab animals by depriving them of magnesium”. I also cover CBD which I am sure you will be hearing about more and more from your peers. CBD is the completely non-psychoactive part of cannabis, meaning it won't make you high or intoxicated. It has several benefits including the fact that it helps to lower inflammation, it kills cancer cells and yes it chills you out and lowers anxiety. Find out more fun facts in the link in my bio - as always I have an audio guide if you don't feel like reading ❤️x
