Ok . . . So only my family and a few really close people know that I suffer from depression. This isn’t a post for sympathy or whatever else, this is a post to try help people, specially “lads” who may be suffering from depression and showing them that it’s ok to open up and talk about it, it isn’t a weakness nor should you feel embarrassed to say you have it. In terms of myself the best thing I ever did was finally open up and talk to my family and close friends. It in my eyes is definitely the best and most important step to take. .
How depression makes me feel:
- I know I’ll be ok, but I still feel awful. - I know I have people around me that love me but it doesn’t feel like they do. - I want to get better but I can’t seem to get there. - I spend all day helping others and making a positive impact on people’s lives in the gym but I still feel hopeless.
- My clients and people around me wouldn’t notice I’m suffering but I have the worst anxiety.
So that’s me opening up. A 23 year old lad, a Personal Trainer, someone that suffers everyday. It’s ok to open up. 🙏 If you read this and you have depression or feel anything close to it please feel free to message me and I’ll help as much as I can. 🙌

Anxiety sucks. Not everything is sunshine and rainbows. 🤷🏼♀️ I truly attempt to stay positive and even in this mornings struggles I asked Destry to read to me from my daily devotional. It helped. I don't know where I would be in this world without my faith and without my relationship with God. But the fact is...I STILL have bad days. Lately I've been struggling with feeling overwhelmed. And most days I cannot even pinpoint exactly what it is. Just an unsettling feeling. Anyone who goes through this knows what I mean. This week it's getting Ellie ready for school and suddenly realizing you are missing crucial records for her to enroll. I have been organized my entire life and suddenly feel as though I'm the most unorganized person in the world!!😳How does this happen?! 😂 I know it will pass...I know it isn't the end of the world. But sometimes I have to remind myself that I don't ALWAYS have to be the cheerleader " everything is great!" person that I usually am and also that it's ok to sit back & acknowledge the struggle. .

Wir haben unsere heutige Tour erfolgreich beendet. ☺️ ca. 45km waren es insgesamt und es ging besser als erwartet (ich bin das 2. mal seit 5 jahren mit dem Rad gefahren). 🙈 Aber ich hab Lust auf mehr bekommen, obwohl die Sonne uns richtig eingeheizt hat. ☀️ Aber sind wir wenigstebs vorgebräunt für den Urlaub. 🌴😜 Jetzt geht’s unter die Dusche und dann gibt es noch eine Bowl als Abendessen. 😍

Never in a million years did I ever think I’d want to see growth in my arms! I always thought skinner arms = better arms. Picking up some weights and adopting a better attitude towards food has done your girl some gooood. Gotta lot of progress to be made, but I think in order to keep motivated, you gotta look back every once in a while and appreciate how far you’ve come.

Hoje já teve 1 hora de treino de corrida🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️ com emoção. Como falei no stories tentaram arrancar a minha correntinha que levo no pescoço.
Foi um grande susto, mas um aprenizado que não podemos dar bobeira. Dá próxima vez tiro a correntinha antes de correr. Mas Deus é tão bom que nada de mal me aconteceu e até a correntinha continuou comigo.🙏🙏🙏 Agora é curtir a praia e o final de semana que o sol promete.🌞🌞🌞
