Meet my new friends, the Harriers. I spent the day at the kennels today helping out, doing odd jobs, cleaning and clearing. Since a young lad when I first went to see the Beaufort hounds at their kennels, I’ve always wanted to help out and work with a pack Hounds. My dreams come true and I’m as thankful for this opportunity as the Masters are for my help!!

Well a huge thank you to @hmatthews15 for introducing me to this great little pack. The Ross Harriers, they are just up the road and hunt the country all around where we’re living. A great meet today, just a small field of riders and a few foot followers. A great friendly bunch who welcomed the children and I very warmly. I’ve been given an invite to the hunt ball in February and also been asked to help out at the kennels with the hounds. This is a dream come true and the Masters are over the moon that I want to help out. Some great times ahead and a huge thank you Hannah for what you’ve done for me!!!!! A big smile on my face tonight 😁👌🏼👌🏼
Well that’s a wrap for another season off the dogs. Being by far the best season for me and most of the boys in the crew so far knowing the dogs are going to be better next year is going to make it a long 4 months waiting to be able to listen to the hounds singing once again through the valleys. Here’s a few more pics of some of the deer I shot for the season. #bailup#vichighcountry#houndhunting2018#beagles#harriers#bloodhounds
