Seaport Sòlas Kombucha fans, we have heard you loud and clear! It’s been barely three weeks since our last weekend as vendors at the @hfxseaportmrkt and we’ve had enough of you call and send messages and smoke signals and carrier pigeons to tell us that you miss being able to pick up growlers of our booch during your weekly market run, so we worked something out for you:
We’ve teamed up with the incredible crew at @garrisonbrewing to bring Sòlas Kombucha growler fills back to the Seaport, and we are launching THIS WEEKEND! Our sales manager Tracy will be on site to help kick things off at their Seaport brewery beginning at 10am this Saturday, October 20, with three (count ‘em, THREE!) flavours of Sòlas Kombucha available for bulk purchase and before you ask, yes, one of them will be the elusive & limited edition Spiced Winter Apple...while it lasts!
To our existing growler clients, there’s a new sheriff in town (Garrison), so we’ve gotta play by their rules when it comes to glassware and sanitation:
Sòlas Kombucha will be sold in 1L Garrison Growlito bottles. 1L Growlitos are a great, low-impact way to take home a brewery-fresh fill of whatever’s on tap at the brewery store. Here’s the deal: Bring down your rinsed/unchipped Garrison growler & they’ll swap it for a clean & sanitized one. Don’t have one? Pick up a 1L growlito for $6 ($4 return deposit) & you’re set!
Since you will be putting down a deposit on a new (absolutely beautiful, etched) growler, in celebration of this launch we are offering $1 off your entire purchase (bottle & kombucha fill) this weekend only.
And if you need any further incentive to cross the street to Garrison this Saturday, it’s also City Harvest 2018 and the party will be in full swing! They’ll have the Mad Gringo food truck, award-winning beer, and locally brewed booch—sounds like a solid Saturday to us!
TL;DR: Sòlas Kombucha is now on tap for growler fills at Garrison Brewing Co.

Does anyone want a kitty 😞 this beautiful boy is super friendly and super skinny. He appears to be a young cat. I think he’s fixed.. he seems to have been abandoned in a subdivision in Enfield. I’ll help you pay for the vet bill and drive you anywhere you need to go with him. It’s getting cold and he doesn’t deserve to die in a snowbank 😭😭😭😭😭 dm me #abandonment#abandonedkitty#help#hessogreat#gingerkitty#halifax#dartmouth#enfield
A scorched-earth policy is a military strategy that aims to destroy anything that might be useful to the enemy while it is advancing through or withdrawing from a location. Any assets that could be used by the enemy may be targeted, for example, food sources, water supplies, transportation, communications, industrial resources, and even the locale's people themselves. It's fucked up but I get it: I'd rather die than give you that good shit you need. Push a person enough and well... you get to see how fucked up humanity can be. Also, the name sounds super cool "Scorched Earth". #Inktober
