Our Little Birds love bubbles! Bubbles are great for eye tracking, hand eye coordination, spatial awareness and socializing! One of the most common first few works of these Little Birds comes during bubble time ... “More Bubbles” or “Bubbles Please!” #seriousfun#tlgwilliamsvilleny#buffalo#gymnastics
Everyone has their obstacles. For me it is both wrists. Both broken, and one with bursitis. For you it may be a knee, shoulder, disc herniation, or something deeper like an autoimmune issue, or a thyroid issue. For any physical hindrance, be it an injury or a health issue, there are 3 ways you can deal with it in training.
1. Train around the problem: avoid it at all costs, and consequently develop major imbalances through compensatory training.
2. Train through the problem: grind and push and suck it up. Tell yourself that pain is temporary and that you need to prove how tough you are. This will result in compounding injuries and issues.
3. Find balance. Rather than train through the problem, address it. Take time to learn about your body, to learn what must be done to bring balance back to your body and to your health. Practice it daily, seek out wisdom from others who have come before you, and often you can restore a significant amount of what was lost.
I prefer option 3.
7 months ago I had broken my wrist, in February I had surgery.. and today I’m doing what doctors told me I wouldn’t be able to what I’m doing now given the seriousness of my injury... I’m not a quitter and this video is my mission statement and testament. (Sound up) they told me I wouldn’t be able to put any weight for at least a few years and that I’d have to work on it but here I am today, 7 months later. 🔥👏🏽
I have so many people to thank for always pushing me when I was down and out. This one is for you all 💙 Glad to be back.
#tbt to almost a year ago when abs were made by a 2 week road trip to BC with some amazing women, crushed @urbanvalleyfarm613 goal and great food.
We almost hit a gazelle, fought a park ranger, had an elk pet, fell into water and we almost stayed out west forever.
To the trip where perspective and direction were found.
Also this hike was murder on me.
