Beginning something isn’t always easy. Same goes for starting at the gym or starting on the path of bettering your mental health. One thing that definitely does help though is surrounding yourself with people of similar passions/interests etc. Challenging yourself to be better can sometimes be a lonely road. However, it doesn’t always have to be. -
Ultimately, finding your own people can be a huge help in a lot of aspects of your life 💪
Had a quick little back session yesterday evening with @jamesghaedi always great to train with someone as I find it helps me push myself so much more!
Some of the form was terrible however it’s all a work in progress and I can tell the strength is improving slowly but surely.

Your fitness journey can be trying at times. There will be times that you want to eat like crap all week, you’ll want to skip the gym for multiple days in a row, or in extreme cases you may want to give up your fitness journey all together. Having a friend who is on the same journey as you or supports your fitness journey, can be SO HELPFUL when you’re lacking motivation!
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve wanted to skip the gym and this gal straight up told me “NO get your ass up, we’re going” *cough cough* this happened today lol. I am so thankful for it. Because not all of us are motivated 24/7, even fitness influencers who look like they are - they’re not. And that’s okay, you don’t have to be!
Have someone in your corner who can help you stay COMMITTED, even when you’re not MOTIVATED. Motivation is bullshit and is rarely there when you need it most anyways.
Then do the same for them, since they probably go through the same thoughts and feelings as you. Be each others support system and enjoy your fitness journey! #supporteachother#fitnessjourney ..
