Finally stopped by @soul_caffeine today and very glad I did. Super fast and friendly service and a great product on top of that. If you’re looking for a caffeine fix on the Eastern Shore this should be on top of your list.

My Instagram feed is full of beautiful photos of people doing beautiful things outside, but I don’t know if the Gulf Coast of Florida has ever made an appearance.
There are certain landscapes that are underrepresented in the outdoors. The swamps, the plains, the gulf, the thick eastern forests need a voice. They don’t have the sexiness of Yosemite National Park, or the pristine electric blue lakes of Glacier, or the west-coast romance of Big Sur, but they’re worthy all the same.
We have a body acceptance movement. We’re initiating important conversations about embracing diversity in the humans around us, and this is wonderful. But I put this forward: What if we did the same for landscape? What if we took that which is typically ignored, these east coast forests and swamplands and farmlands, and celebrated their distinctions instead of comparing their flaws?
As much as I love the Rockies, as much as I lose my breath at the sight of glacial runoff, I know that America is not an alpine lake in the summertime. Let’s celebrate our country for what it is, how gorgeous and diverse our earth can be. Let’s show our appreciation for variety, because, sure, an alpine lake is beautiful, but, let’s face it, we tire of too much of the same. We thrive in a world of diversity, in culture, and people, and in landscape. #alwaysgoswimming

Vacation Photos Continued...After leaving Havana, Cuba, we sailed on over to Cozumel for an afternoon/evening. Sharon and I have been to the Cancun area a few times before and have really enjoyed some of the area things to do but with such limited time at this port, we really didn’t get a chance to venture out much. We made our way over to the Chankanaab Park for a few hours of beach time and then walked around the port area a bit. It was kind of a culture shock going to Cozumel with all the commercialization compared to our time in Cuba. Still made some enjoyable memories!
So lucky for the past month or so back in Panama City, FL, spending time with family and seeing a handful of friends! We really do have some of the most beautiful beaches. (when it’s not red tide or storming) 😫 Heading back out overseas this week, and I’ll be back in PC November/December. Hope to connect with more hometown friends then ✌️ #gulfcoast#emeraldcoast#pcb#panamacitybeach#floridalife#beachlife#paradise Video by @visit_pcb
