East Fork Quinault River Trail. Many of the human-made structures in Olympic National Park are works of art. The bridge over Fire Creek (3.5 miles from trailhead) was no exception with its decorative railing and solid construction. #hiking#olympicnationalpark#quinault
I’m leaving for Rome tomorrow!!! 🤩
I’ll be studying abroad for 6 weeks and I’m SO excited so I decided to spend my last day in Minneapolis taking photos of all my stuff and writing up a blog post about how I packed my small carry-on suit case as a zero-waste minimalist!
I’ve been packing my entire life and finally learned how to do it properly when I discovered the zero-waste movement and minimalism. I’m still a long way from being a true minimalist but I’ve for sure come a long way. The first photo is everything I’m bringing and the rest of the photos are what’s inside the bags from the first photo! To read more about the specifics of what I’m bringing go read my blog post! 😊 Link in bio ✨ -Geevie
Note: Some of you were wondering about the cheese grater and I thought I should clarify lol
I mentioned it in my blog post but I need it to grate a bar of soap for my laundry powder recipe! I was gonna bring the powder pre-made in a mason jar but that would look suspicious to customs, so they’d have to test it and it would just slow me down. So I’m bringing my “soap garter” (second hand 😉), a bar of castile soap (palm oil & plastic free) and a jar to hold it all in! The rest of the ingredients I can just buy there. The recipe is on our blog under DIY Products if you’re interested! 🌿
