Ahhh Santorini, there’s nowhere else on earth like you.
Rugged coastline formed from the remnants of an underwater volcano, one side is red volcanic rock, the other a sea of iconic stark white stucco buildings and vibrant blue domes. Rooftops that flow into steps that lead to front doors, and so on, all the way down to the water line. So many steps. You’ll definitely be cursing them wildly while you drag your overfilled suitcases over one by one to get to your cliffside accommodation. But drop those bags off and head to a cafe overlooking the dramatic architecture, grab an alcoholic bevvie and all the stress will ebb away.
The fall truly is a beautiful and colourful season here in Canada but I'm not gonna lie, I miss the warm Greek weather! Took this picture from the top of the ruins of the Assos castle built by the Venetians back in 1593, over looking the small town of the same name on the island of Kefalonia. It is such a beautiful little town surrounded by breathtaking landscapes.⠀
