Thought about taking a break this November, it's my birth month after all. 🤔 Lols but my calendar says no. 🙅🏽♀️ So here's a throwback from a peaceful Tagaytay. (hanggang throwback nalang muna ako, guys) 😅✨
It took me at least 17 hours including layover to reach Chicago from Manila. Even if your bags have been designated as "checked all the way through" the last destination, you must still claim your baggage and then drop it off in your airline in the Recheck Hall for your connecting flight. 😊🏢🏬🌥️✈️ #chicagoairport
There is something bigger and beautiful than us and we are just a small part of it.

Sometimes you just need a sense of scale to truly appreciate the world as it is. - Chris Bukard

✖✖ THE NARRATIVE
He was the child I remember through these gashed pages of a picture album. He was innocent. He had a smile that could cure any pain. His eyes were his parents' light. But he was silent. 'He needs to cry', someone said. Everyone was in panic. A man with eyeglasses tapped the child's butt in a desperate attempt to save him. One...two...three...he cried at last! And albeit his cries thundered the white-walled room, everyone was excited. He was little and delicate and tiny. He was breathing and alive and free. That was the last time he cried not because of pain.
He was the boy I remember wandering the streets of the city's mooring ports. He loved to play and was full of life. This was the time when the only struggle was how to be in the top of his class. When pains only came from climbing and falling from mango trees. When bruises and scars were made by playing games and not by chasing the wrong people. He was a hopeful dreamer. He dreamed for the stars but landed on the ripples of waters and stayed there. He wanted belongingness and acceptance and love. None of which ever happened.
He is the man I remember in these blank pages of dauntlessness. He prays to win in this battle called life albeit his armour are just vision and bravery. Someday he will be the reason why someone believes in love again; why someone believes in himself again; why someone believes in life again. Someday someone will also write him poems and songs without even asking for them. Someday he will find someone who can embrace his imperfections and ignores like they never existed. Someday he will find someone who will never make him feel alone. Someday he will meet a wandering, dauntless soul who will make him finally understand why the people in the past never stayed. He will then fall in love like it's his first time.
He is breathing...and alive...and free. Again.

Just always remember, there is in life to celebrate 😇
We woke up at 4:00 AM for the preparation to hike in Mt. Pulag summit. Waking up early in the morning my body was freezing due to cold temperature. We started to hike at 4:30 onwards. One hour of ascending to summit was very challenging because during the trail my body was shaking and freezing. My heart beats so fast and I experienced breathing difficulty but all of my sacrifices was paid off. I reached the summit at 05:40 AM and suddenly my most awaited part was starting to appear. And finally, I witnessed the golden hour of Mt. Pulag.
