Finally! I got to 135 on the Bulgarian split squat and felt confident with it. Let me tell you something about this exercise: it’s really frickin tough! Holy crap!
🥵Besides the fact that you’re going for depth with this movement, you also have to make sure that the leg that’s on the pad it’s stays extended through the hip. Which adds a whole Core stabilization aspect to it! And then your hammies and glutes are en fuego! 🔥
If you’re looking for a way to build up unilateral strength in your legs, this exercise is 💰 in the bank!
The lat pulldown is a great exercise for your back IF done correctly ✅
Here is how NOT to do them.
❌ pulling the bar to low.
❌ bar path is to straight.
❌ shoulders rounded forward.
❌ zero control and minimum lat engagement.

How to perform CORRECTLY.
✅ pulling the bar to the top of the chest.
✅ bar oath following the elbows.
✅ shoulders back and depressed.
✅ controlled and squeezing the last.
THKNGS TO FOCUS ON 🧠
🗣 trying to put your shoulder blades in your opposite back pocket.
🗣 pull the bar to the top of your chest.
🗣 try and get your elbows to touch behind your back and squeeze your lats hard.
🗣 control the weight on the way back up to feel that stretch.
