Belated bday post. This years haul from the wife, friends and family. They know me all too well! Might be time to buy the driving range mat!!
It’s almost @theopen time....here we have @tigerwoods from his triumph in 2006. One major difference in the setup than what you’re seeing today, is the slightly lower hands at address (toe up in the air). I believe this was because he was under the impression the toe would open and close better slightly in the air (having the hands lower does help open and close the toe). The main thing I want to talk about here though is his routine in walking into it. You’ll see him set the putter head, then readjust feet (setting up to the putter instead of the other way, getting some movement). You’ll also see that after his last look, his eyes get back and he collects himself then pulls the trigger (no time for negative thoughts to creep in). Routine is HUGE in putting and if you watch this week Tigers is going to be pretty similar to what it was in 06.....
