NF, have you heard of him? The rapper. Well this floral artist, middle aged, minivan driving, chubby mom, has decided that I somehow identify with that man’s music. .
Just read a bit of this… humor me, ok?
“Leave me alone God, I’ll call you when I need you again
which is funny, everyone will sleep in the pews
then blame God for our problems like he’s sleeping on YOU
We turn our backs on him, what do you expect him to do?
It’s hard to answer prayers when nobody’s prayin’ to you
I look around at this world we walk on
It’s a smack in the face, don’t ever tell me there’s no God
And if there isn’t then what are we here for?
And what are y’all doing down there? I don’t know, Lord
Do you see us down here, oh Lord? oh Lord?”
Gonna leave that right there…. Thoughts on it? I would LOVE to hear yours.
Paul Harvey's, The Rest of the Story, caught my attention yesterday. It was about a boy destined for baseball greatness, until a severe sunburn turned into sunstroke and chained him, for a time, to bed; riddling his heart with the loss of one's dreams. It was during that isolated period a hidden talent emerged. A gift which would forever change the course of this young man's life. His name: Roy Acuff, the eventual "King of Country Music".
Life never seems to play out as we intend. The reason? It's not our life to plan. God has a specific journey in mind for each of us. It's by choice to either follow His lead or be led astray by our own wants and desires of this world. Choosing the latter path is one which, at some point, is destined to become suffocatingly wrapped up in worry, hurt, pain, anger, anxiety, frustration, self-destruction and/or the inevitable question, "Why me?".
However, it's not the "Whys" we need answers to, only God holds the key to such knowledge. The "Whats?" are those questions to aid in furthering our self-awareness, purpose and life in general: "What is this teaching me?", "What message is God trying to convey?", "What are the signs I seem to be missing?" There's a lesson to be learned in every obstacle, bringing to light the joy in all His blessings thereafter.
Our purpose in life, like that of Roy Acuff, is many times revealed through our greatest pain(s). "Let go and let God". He will guide you through the darkness, over it's rainbow and to a pot of riches beyond your wildest dreams. By giving ALL OF IT up to Him, we're glorifying His existence and exposing unto ourselves the reason for each breath we take; thus affirming one's direction in life through a gift so great only He has the power to bestow: Our God given talent......
My Wednesday starts by being at the gym by 6 am to train with @coachkjknows which prepares me for the day ahead. It is followed by a very fulfilling day in surgery caring for those in need while also feeding the young minds of resident physicians who, one day soon, will be doing the same. We all have God-given talents some obvious and some not so obvious. Some have been given the gift of the ability to excel in math or the sciences. Others are given the ability to entertain through sports, music or theatrical arts. Some like me have been gifted in medicine and surgical technical ability. No matter what gifts have been bestowed upon you, it is your duty to humanity to use them in such a manner as to benefit society as a whole while also trying to improve yourself. I used my gift to the best of my ability today to make a difference...WHAT DID YOU DO WITH YOUR GIFT TODAY?
Sorry guys been busy lately with school work putting on hold the modeling gigs.
God is been good to me I'm turning 8 this oct 24th( gifts can be send 😁) and I pass the national exam technically I'm grade 3 but on grade 4 class. Dedicated to my grandfather lolo for teaching me math
One little flower all alone.
Do you ever feel like this one?
Bent over, alone, maybe a little absent from the bouquet, background all white and bright and maybe you feel a little like your petal is bruised or dark?
Alone is ok, sometimes. But I am pretty sure we aren’t supposed to be alone long. We are pack animals that live in a world that seems to be making us more and more solitaire in an environment that is hostile.
1 Thessalonians 5:14
And we urge you, brothers and sisters, warn those who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone. .
That’s quite a charge for a lonely someone that feels a bit beat up sometimes, isn’t it? Well I don’t think we are supposed to be doing these things on our own, but with each other and thats what would make the burden easier on us all.

Have you ever wanted to succeed at something so badly but the fear of failure or not being good enough to achieve it almost paralyzes you? Your dreams feel so far away or unrealistic? .
Sometimes I feel like I dream too big. I feel like what if I put myself out there and people see me fail. It seems like every time I try to work on my goals I start to feel incapable, in over my head, but I always try to step back and remember that's the enemy talking. He wants to discourage us from working on these goals because he knows it's our God given desires. He'll use any and every insecurity to bring you down. .
When you feel attacked work even harder and stronger because the devil won't attack you unless your doing something right! Tune out those lies, and remember that God gave you these desires and dreams for a reason. He wants to see us thrive. He put these things on our hearts for a purpose. .
Don't let the enemy rob you from living out your goals. God can use our dreams for a purpose greater than ourselves. We can inspire others even when we don't feel worthy. .
These are a few words I'm trying hold onto right now and I hope reading this encourages you to keep on working on those goals and doing what God wants for us! I'm cheering for us all!! 👏🏾⚡️❤️
God saw it fit for me to wear my own creation to the fashion capital of the world this past week, and I loved every second of it. If I ever needed to be remotivated to keep doing what God has called me to do, I decided it while in New York this past few days. "The blessings of the Lord maketh me rich and addeth no sorrow."
