Often times, I stop and reflect on how travel has changed my life. During these times, I realize how much travel is a part of me. During my teenage years, I would read books and wonder what it would be like to go to all these exotic places.
I never thought this was possible for me but alas, travel opened up so many doors and opportunities for me that often times, I have to pinch myself. For me, travel is living. It is seizing each day and making the most out of every situation.

~ In my relentless hunt for clues that I'm not really alone, I find myself getting drowned and absorbed in a few things. Be it literature or paintings or scribbles or eyes! Those clues which demonstrate that someone else too has those indescribable feelings, unanswered questions.
Butterfly beach is a petit beach in south Goa and lies near Palolem Beach (Canacona). It is a small cove surrounded by dense trees and is a beautiful spot for nature lovers. The beach is named so because the surrounding trees attract a variety of butterflies occasionally, or it may be because the beach itself is in the shape of a butterfly. Either way, it is just as pretty as a colourful butterfly, especially during sunsets. Not many know of this beach, hence it is less crowded and far from the noise and traffic of the city; an ideal location for a picnic amidst nature.
Dolphins (Indo-Pacific Humpbacks) can be spotted from other places in Goa, but Butterfly beach is an ideal location as it is not crowded with tourists. If you choose to travel by boat from Palolem or Agonda to the Butterfly beach, especially at early morning, you should be able to spot them along the way.
The beach cannot be accessed by buses, cars or bikes as it is surrounded by a dense forest. You can reach Butterfly beach by boat from Palolem or Agonda beaches. A boat ride costs around INR 1000-1200 (to and fro). You must keep in mind that during monsoon season boating to Butterfly beach is not possible................... ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖
