Best day I’ve had in a long time 🧡
Woke up at 4 am to beat the sun coming over the valley walls, and spent the entire day exploring and taking photos. Grabbed a coffee and wrote in my journal. This is what life is all about.
Getting an annual parks pass so I can go on all sorts of adventures this year ☺️🏔

Sensoji - the oldest Buddhist temple in Tokyo, Japan.
Completely in awe about everything here - people, food, streets, train... I mean everything is beautiful.

There are two things we’ll never control: the weather and separate souls. •
In my life, I’ve accomplished so many things I wanted for myself. I moved to California and I fought tooth and nail to stay here. At times I’ve explored other cities on my list, and ultimately came back to LA after each trial. I’ve traveled the world alone.
Booking a ticket and adventuring solo is easy.
Making meaningful, lasting connections is hard.
I’m a firm believer that timing is what we make of it. “Timing” is taking ownership of your time and rising for an opportunity.
But not everyone has the same philosophy, and I have to accept that.
While it’s more obvious in hindsight, I also have to accept that not everyone I’ve been drawn to has been right for me.
Making connections is a trapeze act with multiple variables and two separate souls.
So much of it is out of our control.
Best to Keep Ya Head Up, move forward with confidence, and have faith in yourself, regardless of the chaos of the universe and your beliefs on divine timing.
Trust yourself, and take ownership of your time and rise when you feel it. It’s all you have and all you can do. •

It will be a memorable place 🔮
See you next week 💃🏻
Having a Fern Gully moment. But on a more serious note, deforestation is not something to joke about. According to the UN, 18 million acres of forest are lost every year to urbanization. That’s the same size as the country Panama! The best thing anyone can do is to educate themselves. Some of my favorite resources are WWF, Nat Geo and CI.

I’m learning to love the sound of my feet walking away from things not meant for me.
I have a really hard time saying no to anyone or turning down any request that comes my way. Maybe it stems from an insecurity that I don’t want to let anyone down, or from my tendency to always want to please everyone.
But saying yes to everything limits the time you have for the things you really care about, & it hinders your ability to give your 100% to the things that truly matter.
I used to think that saying no was being selfish. That you can only open doors by saying yes. But I’ve come to realize that learning to say that little two letter word is not only extremely valuable, but empowering.
Over this past year, there have been several instances where I’ve had to say no to a client or project, because even if money was involved, deep down, I knew it wasn’t right for me or my audience. And like a sign from the universe, usually something else would come along at just the right moment to take its place, reaffirming my belief that you should always stay true to yourself and values.
When you say no to the things that aren’t really going to help you, you are allowing yourself the ability to say yes to the things that will. By saying no, you open up space to say yes to the opportunities that you truly value.
Are you a “yes” person, or have you taught yourself the art of saying no? #witandfollywords
Forgive yourself for not knowing better at the time.
Forgive yourself for giving away your power.
Forgive yourself for past behaviors.
Forgive yourself for the survival patterns and traits you picked up while enduring trauma.
Forgive yourself for being who you needed to be.
Thanks for this beautiful photo! 💃🏻

When God shows up during your morning walk 💛 Can’t remember the last time I ran through the grass barefoot with the sprinklers on, but it was just pure magic. Pretty sure I made my 7 year old self real proud.
PS - I’m the pot of gold 😉😜// #spiritedpursuit
