1.) smith machine hack squat pauses
✅ focuses on building your quads-
- position your feet shoulders width apart and take a few steps forward leaning your back on the bar.
- grab you a bench and make sure to pause (sit your butt on the bench) 2-3 seconds before coming up
2.) one legged dumbbell hamstring curl
✅ focuses on hamstring and glutes
- position your feet hip-width apart. Use your opposite foot that’s on the dumbbell to lift your butt and hips up.
3.) single arm dumbbell deadlift
✅ focuses on the glutes, hamstrings, and lower back.
- Position your feet shoulder width apart. Keep the dumbbell very close to your leg. You should only have a small gap. - ❌holding the weight away from your body puts pressure on your spine and can cause an injury.
- ✅ keep your abdominal muscle tight and contracted during this exercise.
