Life got a bit busy and I went on an unplanned Insta hiatus but thank you for everyone who checked in - yes, I’m fine! 😊 I’m back in London, back in the office, and back in my regular groove. At least for another 24 hours ... 🇬🇧♥️ #london#england#sandsbritishadventure

Only one week to GO!!!🌍🐶✈️
Soon we will be discovering two beautiful European Cities— any guesses where we are going next?
We have already traveled with @nutbabylion 🐶 to: French Riviera, Venice, South Tyrol, Munich, Finish Lapland, Vienna, Paros Island Greece, Amsterdam, Istanbul and always around Spain..... TIP: they are two cities close to Vienna.... 📍
If you had three days in Washington DC, what would be on your must see list? The National Gallery of Art has this really cute cafe in the sculpture gardens that reminded me a little bit of Paris. #TravelTuesday
Still on that high from the World Cup game here in Croatia but missing that pool life. PS thank you to all of my new Croatia followers, you guys are the BEST ❤️🇭🇷

How many of you can proudly say that you explored your own country? Everyone wants to fly 10 hours to go to Bali and Peru, but no one is willing to spend a few hours driving to a place you never been before in your own homeland. When I moved to London my British friends were shocked that in a short time I explored more places than some people in their lifetime. 😂
In Latvia it is never really a question- where are we going? Just get in and let's go. I remember when my friend just got her first car we used to just go somewhere new every day. Swim in the lake, watch planes landing in the airport, visit a new castle. Latvia is tiny in just 4 hours you can cross the whole country by car, maybe that is why people are willing to explore so much. On the weekend you will hardly see anyone in the city centre, because everyone is out exploring, jumping in lakes, camping.
So let this post be a kick for everyone who hasn't been on vacation for a while! Get up, jump in a car, go explore! As easy as that!
What about you? Do you prefer to save your energy for something unique and exotic or explore your own area more often?
