If you missed my trip to Spain, don’t worry! You can see the best moments from our trip sailing around the Balearic Islands, exploring the beautiful Mediterranean city of Palma de Mallorca, and attending a wedding in Madrid under the Spain Highlight on my feed. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions about the trip! 🇪🇸🌴⛵️
On another note, I also added a Mexico City Food Highlight. Check it out if you’re curious about the booming food scene in Mexico! Warning: photos will most likely cause intense cravings and an overwhelming need to book the next flight to Mexico City! ✈️ 🇲🇽 🌮
There’s a fire inside me 🔥.
Don’t be alarmed, my doctor says to just drink water 💦 and it should go out.
Ok, I’m kidding. (You = 🙄) I’m talking TravelCon, which I attended in Austin, Texas this past weekend. And I just have to say, WOW. Such a whirlwind of inspiration, knowledge, and priceless connections in a span of three days. I don’t think I’ve ever been a part of such a large group of genuine, caring, creative, like-minded individuals in all my life. I walked away with so many new friends from around the world that I genuinely want to stay in touch with.
I also met a few of my favorite bloggers / writers / travel influencers who were awesome enough to chat with me and/or take selfies 😆 🤳🏻 Namely: @thisbatteredsuitcase, @glographics@oneikatraveller, and @cailinoneil . Amazingly talented women 💪🏻 right there!
On top of it all, I was in Austin. And Austin is a bangin’ place. Word from the wise: Do not go this time of year. It's hot and humid. Try February instead. But absolutely go at some point.
Also: Go to TravelCon next year! It will be in Boston next summer June 26-28th. I’ll see you there 😉. (Also excited because I’ve never been to Boston!)
I'm working on a blog post about my learning experiences from @TravelCon. In the meantime, would you enjoy some tips that I share via Instagram stories? What topics are you interested in? (I.e. How to write good content, how to create good IG stories / Snapchat videos, how to tackle a specific social media platform, how to attain your goals in the travel industry, general inspiration, etc)
P.S. Yeah, this picture isn’t from Austin, it was taken near Portland, Oregon. I just had to keep up with my feed aesthetic 😁. More on Austin coming up!

If there is ever a time I feel at my my most free, it’s in the water.
To think that this garden belonged to Yves Saint Laurent himself is so impressive!

The last time I was in Zakynthos was when I was 18, and spent the majority of my holiday partying, drunk or passed out on a bathroom floor. Flash 8 years and look at me now. Still doing the same thing but in the comfort of my beautiful hotel room. ————————————————————————
WELCOME TO OLEA ALL SUITE HOTEL!
Opened just last year, Olea is set on a picturesque hill surrounded by olive trees and greenery with stunning views of the ocean and sandy beaches ahead.
This amazing café just opened there new and bigger place next to their original spot, which looks even more amazing and I can‘t wait to get back there asap to eat all of their delicious and yummy food 😋 @kyndcommunity ::::
Are you more the smoothie bowl or the avo toast kind of person?? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I actually leaned out the window of the van and snapped this pic took this pic while driving through Valley of Fire. Everything was so breathtaking I wanted to take a zillion pictures, but we were in a rush to make it to our trailhead in time to do a hike before sunset! We ended up hiking out in the dark that night, but luckily for us there was a full moon to light the way 🌕
Pura Vida by @consciouswanderings: perhaps the best two words in the world
"Pura Vida is the essence of what makes Costa Rica so special. I have never been anywhere where people are so willing to go out of their way to help you. A place where I see so much support for one another and care for their community; it is truly the pinnacle of human decency."
When a tico says Pura Vida to you, they aren't just acknowledging you as a tourist (which is what I thought at first), they are actually wishing you a wonderful day or moment. They are acknowledging the gift that it is that we have another day on this beautiful planet. There is an inherent happiness, a love and passion for life, and ease in Costa Rica that is near impossible to find at home (U.S.)
So to you on this Saturday morning, I say Pura Vida and I hope you have the most beautiful day yet - because every day should"
be special. #puravida#puravidacostarica
Comparison is the thief of all joy. Take there sunflowers for example. They don't think of competing with the next flower, they just bloom 🌻🌻🌻 Imagine if we could create a world like that, imagine how beautiful it would be. 😊 .
Best part is, you don't have to stop at just imagining it. You can make this your reality 💛 Making a habit to be more aware of my thought process has become so important to me. What about you?
Some people tremble at the idea of being alone. I don't understand that because I love my solitude; it gives me power. My energy is never leeched, I am never stressed out, and I am never in danger when I am alone. I am free, I treat myself well, and it's peaceful.
Screaming happy birthday from the other side of the world to my bestfriend, my person, my babybird, my tiny heart. You will be all of those things for the rest of my life. You mean the world to me. We’ve had so many adventures, cries, and greatest nights ever. Thank you for being so loyal and one of the lifers. If it’s possible your heart is even more beautiful than your face. Love you bes!! 🎎❤️🌺🐠💩

This was before the attack of 3 amaretto sour! Cheers to our last day. We’ll stop wearing black, when they make a darker color.

🇺🇸 And today I missed one of the most incredible trips I've ever done: California.
The thrill of traveling from San Diego to San Francisco and discovering wonderful cities along the way, and enjoying sunsets, such as this wonderful in Santa Barbara.
I just have to thank for opportunities like these!!!
in ten minutes things could look so differently. like the colour of a sunset. and the world after meeting you.🌊

Beautiful Lake Malawi! 😍
Malawi has always been one of my favourite places to travel and I can’t wait to get back there (I’m currently in Zambia) for the @lakeofstars festival in a few days! So excited to see @majorlazer and @sautisol Who’s going? Will I see you there? 🌍 Let’s party! 😉
When you travel, what type of traveler are you? Do you plan out every last detail? Or do you like going with the flow? Do you like doing the top 10 things tourists usually do or go off the beaten path? Do you like spending time in cities or out in nature more? Do you stay in hostels or prefer luxury hotels? Are you someone who has to see everything or take it slow?
I have been traveling for well over a decade and it's amazing to think back to my first few trips and how I've evolved as a traveler since then.
Now I definitely prefer nature to a lot of city time, prefer Airbnb's and hotels to hostels and plan more than I did back in the day. I like to take it slow and spend my days soaking in the vibe vs having to see every single thing there is to see.
Have you changed as a traveler?
