After making our first (ever) batch of Oleo-Saccharum from lemon peels, we just couldn’t wait to use the resulting syrup. But first, let’s have a moment of silence for how many lemon peels it took to make about 4 ounces of the stuff.... Good? Good.
Wonderful lemon flavors heading your way!
High Noon ☀️
▪️1.75oz @malfygin Limone
▪️.75oz Lemon 🍋 Juice
▪️1BS Gum Syrup
▪️5 Dashes Orange 🍊 Flower Water
▪️Egg White 🥚
Mix all ingredients in shaker and reverse dry shake 💃. Double strain into coupe glass and garnish with Fennel Sprig.
Now this is a true lemon 🍋 sour! With so much lemon on both the front and back end of every sip, you are going to cherish the hints of sweetness to be found in the gum syrup and oleo-saccharum. The @malfygin was meant for this drink, as it blends right in. For those who don’t like the taste of alcohol in their cocktails 🍸, this is the Sour for you.
