One of the hardest things for people is accepting an outlook on things that isn't necessarily their point of view or what they invision things to be. Often times we wrap ourselves in situations hoping for an unrealistic outcome because no one has taken the time to help us see things from a different perspective. These senerios happen all of the time with our health, our finances, our business, and our relationships with others. Be willing to assess situations from different points of view and be accepting of other outlooks. When you can do this you can have true progression in life.

Kris Kringle Night December 12 at Harbor Crab 6-8 pm. It is such an amazingly special night to feel the real and true meaning of Christmas. We would love for you to join us - it will change your life as we help families in need!
Food, drinks and raffles are from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. At 8 p.m. we load up on buses to spread Christmas Cheer to those in the community that truly need some help to get through a rough patch. Put your Santa hat on and get ready to sing. We do not care if you sing good or bad - just as long as we can hear you!
Remember 100% of everything donated goes directly to these families. Even if you cannot attend, you can still buy raffle tickets, donate a raffle prize or just make a donation. Everyone is welcome to help in spreading Christmas joy! You get what you give! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
There was a farmer who sold a pound of butter to a baker. One day the baker decided to weigh the butter to see if he was getting the right amount, which he wasn’t. Angry about this, he took the farmer to court. ⠀
The judge asked the farmer if he was using any measure to weight the butter. The farmer replied, “Honor, I am primitive. I don’t have a proper measure, but I do have a scale.” ⠀
The judge asked, “Then how do you weigh the butter?” ⠀
The farmer replied; ⠀
“Your Honor, long before the baker started buying butter from me, I have been buying a pound loaf of bread from him. Every day when the baker brings the bread, I put it on the scale and give him the same weight in butter. If anyone is to be blamed, it is the baker.” ⠀
Moral of the story: In life, you get what you give. Don’t try and cheat others. ⠀

We get what we give.
With every step, every touch, every breath...
We are met with the vibration and intention that we send out.
Walk like your feet are kissing the ground.
Speak like you are in love with your words.
Think like your thoughts are reality.
(Psst- they are!)

There’s a really popular video going around recently, posted by @seanwwhalen on Facebook.
I’m sure you’ve seen it, or even reposted it.
If not, the summary of it is simply to men to STEP UP their relationship game.
He bought his girlfriend some flowers, and the cashier instantly asked if he was in “trouble”.
The idea, was purely, that men should be thinking of the woman in their lives JUST BECAUSE, and not waiting to make nice gestures when crisis arrives or because a Holiday forces you to.
I’ll be honest, as soon as I saw that video I was like, “DAMN STRAIGHT!” I wanted to share it, tag my husband in it, DM it to him, possibly even embroider the message on his pillowcase.
But, then I had a different thought. Maybe, just maybe, I should BE the person I wanted to be married to, instead of pressuring or hoping he would get this message.
You see, it’s so EASY to wish our relationships were better or our partner would get us flowers or that sharing or tagging them in a video will inspire them.
And while I do truly love and appreciate the message Sean shared, I realized I myself needed to step up my relationship game instead of just hoping my husband would.
Last night I snuck out of the house and got everything to make one of our favorite “cheat” dinners. I got him some epsom bath salt and a redbox and some dessert.
I could have sat at home and been bitter or lazy, but I put in some effort MYSELF instead.
So to every WOMAN I see that shared that post, or every woman/man in general who is just WISHING for a better relationship, I challenge you to make sure YOU yourself are also putting in the work in your partnership. ❤️
Effort is attractive. ❤️
