Better to see something once than hear about it a 1000 times.
That's exactly how I felt with Sevilla. It was beautiful, and I enjoyed my time there, but I didn't love it. And that's fine. That's my opinion. We set up expectations of how things should happen when we travel, and in our day to day life, and we are harsh on ourselves if it doesn't work out the way we wanted it to. I just happened to like other cities better, but I didn't let that get in the way of making the most of my trip. That's the kind of laid back attitude that I wish I could have towards life in general sometimes. Are you a control freak, or are you more relaxed with life? I'm the former 🤷♀️😅

Keeping the theme....some of Fair Haven’s finest friends getting lost around the world. Always refreshing to see Ally and Ryan stretch their legs. Their paths often seem to lead to wineries so lost they are not! Enjoy and safe travels to you and your posse. #gettinglost#sicily#neighborsandfriends
This evening, @iamdrryan and I went out on a drive. Up here in the #PNW , the sun is setting around 9:00 pm, so we decided to take advantage of the still beautiful day. We turned down random roads and went up into the mountains. For a while, Ryan knew where we were. Until we turned on an especially random road that kept going and going and going and going. It changed width, material, and bumpiness many times while we were on it. There were no address markers and we were surrounded by trees. We finally got to the ‘end’ of that road, which was a T. Ryan and I looked at each other, shrugged, and took the left fork, but not before checking to see if there were any street signs — and all we saw was a small sign that said “2855”. Uuuhhhhh okay.... so we kept driving down the left fork, which is a dirt road, for another ten minutes or so before it became paved, still with no signage. We started seeing houses and addresses, then all of a sudden, we’re spit out right to the highway, hysterically on the random road where Ryan had accidentally found himself earlier in the day!!!! It was such a crazy adventure and so much fun. Do you ever get lost on purpose?
