—> Get comfortable with being Uncomfortable. <— ⭐️ I say this to myself every morning!
First week of 21 Day Fix is in! 🙌🏻 One thing that I love about these programs is the diversity of exercises.
I’m challenged in new ways every time I start a new program.
My legs were sore ALL WEEK, but it’s a great feeling!! It reminds me that I’m changing my body and growing stronger! 💪🏻 Only after 1 week, I’m seeing results and feeling great!
Did you know that it’s been proven that it takes 21 days to create a habit? Think about the last time you intentionally invested in a positive habit for your life. Or do you try something for a few days & give up? I’ve done it. I’m a believer of this! You know why? It’s a year later from doing that 21 day program & I’m STILL ordering my coffee with 1/2 the pumps of syrup & almond milk! I’m not forcing myself to eat a salad so I can feel like I’m eating ‘healthy’. I’m doing this all because my body now CRAVES the GOOD stuff & a balance! I’ve learned to listen to my body! When I don’t eat this way, I feel horrible. I want to help YOU accomplish 21 days & create a habit. Will that be you? (Link in bio to join) 🍁🍂

Day 20, 21 & 22
Two of my favorite numbers are above, especially if I’m sitting at the Blackjack table. Yes it is always nice to see 20 or 21!! The number 22 is just a bust ♥️♠️♦️♣️ I do like to gamble on occasion and even though I have probably lost more than I won, it is fun trying to win! Plus someone has to pay the light bill in Vegas 😉
How does Blackjack relate to my 30 Days to Healthy Living and Beyond commitment, you might be wondering? Well, DECIDING to be healthy and make healthier choices is like getting a 20. Does this mean you win? Does this mean you will never suffer any physical or medial issues? No, but your chances are much higher to have a better quality of life! On the other hand, if you are not paying attention to what you are eating and putting on your skin (the largest organ) your chances of busting are higher. When I say “busting” I mean — high blood pressure, high cholesterol, skin issues, gut issues, lack of energy, lack of motivation, obesity, brain fog, and the list goes on... You know the difference between the Blackjack table and making healthy choices? At the Blackjack table you can’t see the cards, and when it comes to your health, all the cards are face-up! The choice is yours; you decide!
These days have been very busy, but I have still managed to stay on track in avoiding any inflammatory and toxic foods. Eating out can be tricky. I ordered a steak and salad on Day 22, and even though the steak tasted yummy I’m pretty certain it wasn’t grass fed beef. Paying attention to your food choices is about progression not perfection.
So what will you decide?
One day...or day one?
Stop gambling with you health; save that for the tables!
Are you not sure where to start or where you can make changes?
I would love to help.
The best things i have done and the things that have made the most positive impact in my life have been things that pushed my limits... that pushed me to try new things... that made me reach just that little further. And sometimes it meant going into the unknown. It wasn't easy but the rewards worth it.... #getoutofyourcomfortzone#dreambigger#takeachanceonyourself#youareworthit
Eeek I made that. 🤭 My sister in law asked me to make my nieces 21st birthday cake, I’m not going to lie I was a bit hesitant. My first thought was to ask my bestie who is a cake maker extraordinaire, but then I though f$&k it, I will give it a go. If you don’t challenge yourself how do you know what you’re capable of. Today cake making tomorrow, who knows??? 🤔
If we fail to control our environment then our environment ends up controlling us.
When the environment that supported them was destroyed they had a choice. Stick around and hope for the best or venture further a field into unknown and dangerous territory to survive.
Adapt or die.
Well they didn't just adapt the began to thrive because of the bountiful free food sources everyone had planted in their gardens. You see they love cedars. And there are plenty of them around here. As well as fruit trees and bushes.
Many of us are the same as the deer. Afraid to step out of our comfort zone into the unknown. Waiting for just the right time to make the change. Which all to frequently happens to late or is brought on by a life changing event.
Yes the unknown is scary. But maybe at the other side of your comfort zone there is a free lunch just waiting.
Today was a much needed rest day, so I stayed home after work. I’ve gotten into crossfit and just started a boxing class this week. In October after my swing dancing classes are over, I will be taking one MMA class to see what that’s all about.. only six more weeks in Alaska, so I need to make the most of it! This is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. #ketchikan#getoutside#trynewthings#getoutofyourcomfortzone

Throwback to the time I went cliff diving for the first time in Boracay! I def was afraid to jump but all it took was that first step and it was one of the best feelings ever. I do have a lot of fears and I try my best to tackle each one. You really grow more as a person once you get out of your comfort zone and be open minded to the endless possibilities that can happen. I can say I like to be fearless and live on the edge now because it’s amazing what you can do when you get over your fears. I revamped my whole website into a self love and life adventure blog. Thank you to those message me about my blogs and how they are helping y’all out. I’ve posted a new fearless blog so head over to my profile link y’all or visit www.adventureswithjle.com. Let me know what y’all think of my new website by commenting below!! 😊💕😼
PSA: I AM HAVING A SKYDIVING PARTY OCTOBER 7 @10:30AM IN LA! DM FOR DEETS! 😁
Happy Thursday World! Today I had a little 3 year old girl ask me, “Ms. Ana are you happy?” Then she said, “You’re happy, aren’t you?” She had never asked me that question before, but I looked at her and I paused for a moment and had to think about it. I though about it because I look back to where I was a year ago as well as several years back and I feel better than ever. Most of all God has eliminated some things in my life that I was trying to hold on to, knowing very well that it was not in my best interest. I’m grateful for the good, as well as bad, because what we think is the worst thing happening to us, might be the best thing for us in the long run. Learning to let go was difficult, but that’s where you see God working in your favor.
Makes me so happy my parents started seeing the world when I was a teenager once my oldest brother was responsible enough 🤣🤣🤣 to keep an eye on me. #dontwait#getoutofyourcomfortzone

The thing I love most about travel is it gets me out of my comfort zone. I love the feeling of culture shock, of not being able to understand the language or knowing where I am. I LOVE it. Something I don’t love? Large groups of people, meeting new people and small talk. It is literally exhausting for me to be around people all day and I’m already naturally a tired person lol. I’m struggling to keep my eyes open but I learned a lot today at #travelcon2018. I’m most proud of sticking it out and networking when I really wanted to just sit in a corner by myself. #trueintrovert#rootlessroamer#languagebarrieriseasierthansmalltalk#getoutofyourcomfortzone

#tbt to the days of being a Lady Bronco 💚
To the time where I started to really figure out who I am and all that I’m capable of. It’s no secret that college wasn’t the easiest for me but it helped me grow so much as a person. Without all that I went through there I wouldn’t be able to do what I’m doing now. I never would of had the confidence in myself to move across the country if I didn’t challenge myself with going away to college. It took me two times but Delhi ended up being the absolute right decision for me. And not to mention it brought me Nate 😍
Now everyday I am grateful for those challenges I faced because they prepared me for life today. It’s crazy how we learn different lessons in life but we can’t see them until much later. There’s always a greater plan in place ✨
