One of the most amazing places I've ever seen. An unusual church located a few kilometers from San Cristóbal de las Casas in Chamula. A place that is a mixture of Catholicism and old Indian rituals. Inside the church, there are no benches for sitting, and the floor is covered with a few centimeters of hay on which in small groups local people are sitting surrounded by thousands of candles. They eat, drink strong alcohol driven from sugar cane and pray at the same time. Some of them also drink Coca cola, because they believe in its purifying power. This amazing place will definitely stay in my head for a long time.
If laundry is one of my least favorite things to do after a trip, jet lag is definitely the next one up there as well. So, since I’m up dealing with a 4 and an 8 year old who refuse to sleep since 3:00 am...here’s more wonderful memories from a few days ago when we were still in paradise, surrounded by the sun, water and palm trees 🌴. It’s all about seeing a shred of positivity in everything, right? This is my take on a sleepless night right now...I get to organize my photos and rejoice in having been able to take this wonderful trip I had been dreaming about for almost a decade.
Oh and for those of you who are asking, both wraps and swimsuits in my last two posts were bought on amazon at very reasonable prices 🙏.
Ese instante en el que cierras los ojos y te imaginas estar ahí, en el lugar dónde te sentiste como en casa, hace darte cuenta de que tu corazón pertenece a todas partes. Hace tiempo que me considero ciudadana del mundo y tú? .

Happy Earth Day! The beauty in the earth continues to amaze me as I find new places to explore. Here's a secluded beach I found over the weekend that was accessible at low tide, without having to have a boat. Let's support environmental protection, so we can continue to enjoy places like these for years to come.
Duh rencanaku banyak sekali ya Allah, tak papalah sholawatkan saja dulu #jokkavietnam 🇻🇳 #timelesscharm#vietnam
Just smiling into the distance pondering whether it was too soon to have an ice cream after eating cheese fondue. Does anyone else basically live for the food when they travel? I’m currently travelling back to the UK after two weeks in Thailand and you can bet I’ve spent it living on a diet of pad thai, curry, mango sticky rice and coconut ice cream! I seriously think I could live off nothing but Thai food for the rest of my life. 😍🥥
If you could only eat one country’s food for the rest of your life – which country would you pick? 🍕🍟🍣🥖❤️
🇬🇧 These basins are natural sources of hot water. The temperature of the water reaches 38 ° C. Tolantongo is full of caves, waterfalls and rivers of hot water. There is enough to spend a nice day !
