Socks: Today mom brought us out for walk ard the estate. At a corner she saw a family with the kids playing outside and 2 unleashed dogs. She quickly made a Uturn but apparently the dogs saw us and dashed towards me. We both barked at the dogs but one of the dog (French bulldog, smaller than colby but fitter) came hard at me. Mom tried to pull me away but can't. The damn owner still taking his own sweet time trying to grab his dogs away. The frenchie kept attacking my tummy area. It was in a mess! Mom had no choice but to kicked the frenchie away but she didn't kick it hard, just trying to shove it aside but doesn't work. She might get injured if she uses her hand to stop us thou. She shouted at the dogs in front of the owner and he finally got the beast away from me. I was scared. I hid my tail🙈 the lady over came to apologize to mom and even offered water for me, mom rejected and quickly brought us back. But I was fine.. Still take ball and ask mom to play with me. But mom was glad I didn't retaliated back cos if I do, I will be in the wrong also if I injure the bloody frenchie (which I think will serve him right!😈)
Late yesterday evening Kobe boy joined us to go visit Carly’s parents.
During our visit we did not pressure him to interact with new people but instead only needed him to exist calmly. He practiced a very nice Down for every bit of an hour before being released just before we headed out the door. He was far more confident with himself even in a new environment around new people and fell back on familiar commands/behaviors when he needed to. Keep up the great work sweet boy!
Cooper went to see his orthopedic surgeon yesterday for a follow up. She wanted to see him when he was 1 to check his hips and knee again. Sadly, his hip dysplasia has significantly gotten worse and he now needs surgery. I have started a Go Fund Me (Link is in bio) to help with the cost of this surgery. He needs this surgery so he won’t be in pain. He has had negative reactions to a lot of meds we have tried, even CBD oil, so that limits us with what we can do. He’s a special case with having two knee surgeries and his allergies. So if you can help we would greatly appreciate it and if you can’t, please just share. We appreciate anything! We just want Cooper to live a long and happy life and be as pain free as he can.
