Patience is a virtue - not only when it comes to fishing, but also when it comes to visa applications 😅. Let’s face it: We, Germans, are pretty spoiled in regards to visa regulations. As of October 2018, German citizens enjoy visa-free or visa on arrival access to 188 countries and territories, ranking the German passport third in terms of travel freedom according to the Henley Passport Index. However, the game changes depending on your mode of transportation. Entering India by land requires us to file for a different visa application procedures than entering India by plane. Similarly, everyone needs a visa to visit Pakistan, except for passport holders of a few nations. Applying for a tourist visa for Pakistan is confusing, though. Every embassy has its own rules. Some require you to go through an intermediary, some need an invitation letter. What is for certain, is that you need to apply at the Pakistan embassy in your home country or country of residence. Applications lodged outside your home country are usually refused unless there is no embassy in your home country. On the other hand, some embassies such as Germany, France, UK, Australia, Netherlands and Belgium have all been reported as easy and flexible. Holding on to our travel itinerary, we’ve spent quite some time familiarising ourselves with different visa regulations and embassy rules. We’ve exciting times ahead 😊!

4:45am in the morning right before @maxschiefele and I headed to lake Rai Da Ravais. When was the last time you got up really early just to watch the sun rise? Taken with my #Fujifilm X-T2 and the 16mm. Visit www.adrianschiefele.com to view this photo in full-size. .
