Garlic Confit and it’s side-creation, garlic-infused olive oil 🥄
Pizza with garlic basil fromage from By George Farm, garlic from Happy Dirt Veggie Patch, and garlic infused olive oil from Pasture 42! Very yummy, and plan on adding some tomato sauce next time.
I’ve done a quick video on how to make my favourite Turmeric Aioli! (the full video is under my highlights “Cooking”) If you have not tried it yet then you must, not only is it game changing on your food but it’s full of nutrients! With both the garlic and turmeric you’re getting quite the hit of anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial benefits 👍
1 cup of light olive oil (make sure it's the light, extra virgin will taste terrible!)
1 Whole Egg or 3 Tablespoons Chickpea Brine
1 Tablespoon White Vinegar or the juice of a fresh lemon
*1-3 cm piece of fresh Turmeric *1-4 cloves garlic
Salt and pepper *adjust these depending on your taste preferences!
Blend with a stick blender until thick and creamy, if using egg add 1-2 Tablespoons of boiling water at the end which will cook the egg and it will keep for a week. The chickpea version will keep for a week also! ✨
