Finally worked out the perfectly nutrition balanced smoothie for my breakfasts. I never liked drinking smoothies for breakfast because a lot of recipes out there add lots of fruit which means your smoothie is full of sugar. So I just stayed away from smoothies and had boiled eggs and kale.
Anywho I’ve experimented with different type of smoothies and this one hits the spot both nutritionally and taste wise.
2. Pea protein
3. Half an avocado 🥑
4. Chia seeds
5. Tbsp Peanut butter
6. Almond milk or water
7. Pinch of cinnamon
Perfect mix of fats (avo and peanut butter) fibre (kale) and protein (protein powder). I’d love to know what’s your fave smoothie recipe?👇🏽
Who else can’t live without banana bread?! 🤤🤤 .
I used my grandmas old recipe that she used to cook for us weekly 💗 except I added applesauce instead of eggs!

hi guys. i’m having a really rough night. it’s really incredible to me how much of an emotional rollercoaster this is. after i got home today i felt completely fine and back to normal and now i feel maybe the worst i ever have. i’m really sorry if i’m triggering anyone. after my afternoon snack i was still hungry so i made another snack! then things went down hill. i was putting off dinner as much as i possibly could. my mom came home and asked if i had eaten. i contemplated lying and saying i had but instead i told the truth and said no. i kept putting dinner off for about an hour and then finally decided i needed to eat even though i really didn’t want to. i then made my dinner. i was so nervous about it. it took me forever to eat it and i didn’t even finish it. as shown in the picture. i really want this illness gone i don’t want to look back on my life and regret all the time i let it take from me. i’m trying so hard to fight it but it’s so hard. i don’t like eating this late it’s screaming at me not to. but at the same time i want my life back and i want to enjoy this time of my life because this is the height of my life. i didn’t eat birthday cake on my 18th birthday and i’ll never be able to change that. i just don’t understand how i have such high highs and low lows. praying i’ll get the courage to eat a cookie before bed. good night all:) ~🥥
AFTERNOON SNACK 2: one multigrain toaster waffle with pb2 and jelly. plus a granola bar.
DINNER: bowl with shredded hash browns, broccoli, mushrooms, spinach, and some ketchup.

If drinking superfoods smoothies that taste that strawberries is wrong, I don’t want to be right! Also love the vanilla and chocolate too!✨
I haven’t been sick all year! I feel like I need to shout it from the rooftops! 🙌🏻
And I fully credit it to the change in my nutrition this year, and this daily superfoods shake. Full of greens, probiotics, digestive enzymes, and so much more. Let’s just say it fuels my body with all the good stuff - and has me feeling GREAT! 🤸🏼♂️
Here’s why it’s such a big thing to me. I used to get sick multiple times a year. And with having asthma - it usually would mean me having to use my inhaler for a few weeks, having trouble breathing, and probably a trip to urgent care sometime during the year. ✨
So yes, I’m ecstatic how great I feel - and knowing how great our bodies can feel! 🤸🏼♂️
My dad is drinking it now too - and said his cold was shorter this month than it usually is when he’s sick. There’s something to this nutrition thing, I tell ya! 😉

Just a little sneak peak at next week’s ultra super easy meal prep for lunch bc I’m moving and working and packing for a week long trip next week 😓 I’m gonna make tuna pasta salad using my absolute favorite dressing! Dill is my favorite herb so when I saw this I had to buy and I couldn’t be happier!! Gonna throw some cherry tomatoes in and I’m thinking one more veggie! Taking suggestions 😂

I started weightlifting when I realized that “eating to live” wasn’t quite a good enough reason for me.
I needed a “reason” to eat; a purpose for all the food I was supposed to devour (or consume like a normal human being....)
Lifting weights gave me that reason; I wanted to fuel my body so I could crush my workouts.
I wanted to eat enough to grow some sort of muscle or muscle-like shape.
I channeled my addictive personality into learning the TRUTH about how the body works.
I spent hours pouring over books and websites about lifting weights and nutrition and came to the realization that everything I thought I knew before was pure & utter b***s***.
My body DID need carbs, even on days when I didn’t workout.
My hours spent on a cardio machine WEREN’T doing anything beneficial except making me bored.
And most of all, detox tea & waist trainers & fasted cardio DID NOT COUNT AS LEGIT THINGS.
You don’t need to do anything crazy to show your body love.
Move in a way that is comfortable for you, and realistic for your goals & your lifestyle.
If you sat me down & gave me a strict workout & restrictive diet plan, I could do it.
And I’d be DAMN GOOD.
But that’s not real health; real health is treating your body with respect & nourishing it with science, not detox teas (which, BTW, mainly just contain senna which is what is given to colonoscopy patients and should not be taken for more than 2 weeks straight and DEFINITELY not for the 28 days those stupid “tea” companies insist).
Fuel your body with REAL food, and nourish your mind with REAL science.
And then, soothe your soul with a REAL donut 💕🍩💕
I love sleep. I mean really love sleep. 😴 It could be because I don't get enough sleep. But when I do get to sleep I really want to stay asleep for a minimum hour count. 🐑 🐑 Know what I mean? Well oils are a fabulous way to support sound sleep. So open your Starter Kit, yep its all in there, and get started on a good night of rest support. 🌛
What? No starter kit yet? 😳 DM me and let's get you set up

Encapsulated Farm Fresh Produce 🍒🍌🥦 These are the most researched nutritional product on the market in the world 👏🏽 🌱 The phytonutrients in the capsules are bioavailable - so you receive the nutrients instantly! 🙌🏽 When you eat fruit + veg you don’t always absorb all the nutrients and with all the chemicals / pesticides on them you don’t know how nutritious the food is anyway & you don’t even know how long it’s been sitting there the time it makes it home to you from the supermarket. 💫
The idea behind these capsules is to FUEL your system with as much goodness as possible, and this makes that possible! 😍
If your looking to make your health an investment or just simply want some more info just slide into my DMs 😜 •
Over the past few months I have made a concious effort to stop focusing on everything that "needs" changing and rather just be happy with myself.🤗
Whenever people use to say to me "you need to love yourself Hannah" I never got that...my mind always associated loving yourself with being arrogant or cocky and I never wanted to be like that!
I have realised that Loving yourself doesn't mean you think your perfect, it doesn't mean you think your better than anyone else or there aren't things you need to work on...but rather that you EMBRACE who you are and what you have to offer. That You are KIND to yourself both physically and mentally and you fill your life with people and experiences that make you HAPPY.
Today I am PROUD of this body I live in and what it allows me to do every day. I have a job that brings me so much joy, a wonderful partner who supports me unconditionally an amazing family and beautiful friends. Today, I'm choosing to love myself as I am right now and be grateful for what truly matters 🙏
Its been so long since i have been able to do any sort of fast that i had to look at the calendar to calculate days i have performed compensation fasts from Ramadaan (the holy fasting month for Muslims). My 16hr intermittent fasting protocol also took a break as i worked through some physical and mental issues after my miscarriage. I am still processing my grief and the grief of my family. So many aspects of our life factor into our journey and we often offer up our self committment as the first release.
The last few weeks i have felt like i was spiralling out of control, losing a grip on my journey. Eating nutritious meals is not the problem, i can do that daily. The problem is wen the added extras take centre stage and i find myself grabbing high carb highly processed items to offset the stress and busy schedule i have had. My breakfast meals r almost always clean and sometimes i have not even had lunch but then wen i come home from work exhausted i grab wotever is comforting and easy and less than ideal. The snacking post dinner is an old habit which reappeared and is now really hard to fight. In the last few weeks i have had more junk food than i would in months while following a 80/20 low carb plan. My body feels yuck and my waist feels thick.
I figure the best way to get myself back on track is to start with some religious fasting. I always feel my spritual self strengthen while fasting and that leads to my mental and physical strength returning. This journey is not easy. Keeping focussed and motivated is not easy. Staying committed and on plan is not easy. Wot is easy is to go off track and to fall prey to the comforts of our past habits.
I am still fighting my demons one day at a time, one meal at a time. Today my predawn prefasting meal was a spinach and parmesan omelette with beef patties and some tomatoe and cucumbers. I could only manage 300ml water and i hope im not going to b feeling dehydrated on the first day. Religious fasting as per Islam = dry fasting. I.e NOTHING passes the throat, except your saliva 😁
Wishing u all a spectacular Sunday 💜🧡💛

#Goodmorning. Have you had your healthy #breakfast?
Eggs has protein and Omega-3. Omega-3 fish oil contains both docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acidy (EPA). Omega-3 fatty acids are essential nutrients that are important in preventing and managing heart disease.
Add leafy greens for texture/color to please the eye and it has fiber/vitamins to please the digestive system. Avocado has healthy fats, cherries tomatoes conrtains vitamins and sweet potatoes which is my most favorite that gives clean carbs.

GARLIC BUTTER CHICKEN BITES WITH ZUCCHINI NOODLES🔥🔥
Recipe by📸 @caribbean_recipes .
3-4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized chunks
4-5 medium zucchini, rinsed and spiralized (or a pack of store-bought Zucchini Noodles)
4 tablespoons butter, divided
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1 tablespoon hot sauce (we used Sriracha)
1/4 cup (60ml) low-sodium chicken broth
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1 tablespoon minced parsley
1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
Crushed red chili pepper flakes, optional
Slices of lemon, for garnish
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon hot sauce (we used Sriracha) or 1 teaspoon chili powder
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoons Italian seasoning
1. Slice chicken breasts into bite-sized chunks and combine with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and hot sauce or chili powder, mixing until evenly seasoned. Marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to one hour.
2. In the meantime, wash and trim the ends of the zucchini. Using a spiralizer, make the zucchini noodles, then set aside.
3. Bring the marinated chicken bites to room temperature and heat two tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium-low heat. Gently stir-fry the chicken pieces on all sides until golden brown. Remove the chicken bites from the skillet and set aside to a plate. You might have to work in batches to avoid crowding the pan and have steamed chicken instead of browned.
4. In the same skillet over medium-high, add two tablespoons butter, lemon juice, hot sauce, and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer and allow to reduce for 1-2 minutes, stirring regularly.
5. Stir in fresh parsley and minced garlic, then add the zucchini noodles and toss for two to three minutes to cook it up. Allow the cooking juices to reduce for one minute if the zucchini noodles render too much water. Add the chicken bites back to the pan and stir for another minute to reheat. Garnish with more parsley, fresh thyme, crushed chili pepper, and lemon slices and serve immediately. Enjoy!
double the yolks means double the FUN (and deliciousness 🍳💕)
happy friday, my friends! 🤗 I had a doctors appointment this morning and came home to put together this simple brunch plate 🥑 I always thank past Leanne when she preps things in advance - I love having boiled eggs, sweet potatoes, roasted veggies, chickpeas, and chicken cooked and ready for whenever I’d like it to eat it! a formal “meal prep” doesn’t work for me, but this style of just having things that I love made in my fridge is what works for me!
Michael and I are planning on visiting our old high school this afternoon, and then hanging out the rest of the day! ❤️
I hope you all have a fabulous friday! 💃
