I love fruit and the benefits they hold for our bodies! Do you guys know when it is best to consume them tho?
Eat fruit on its OWN. In the morning on an empty stomach, 30 mins before a meal or 3-4 hours after a meal!
Fruits digests the fastest taking only about 30 mins! Eating them combined with other heavy foods that take 3-4 hours to digest can cause them to start fermenting in your stomach because they sit there waiting
They also have a very high water 💦 content diluting your hydrochloride acid (acid that helps digest food in the sac of your stomach) therefore food is not as efficiently digested!
If you are having trouble digesting food maybe try eating fruit on it own and not combining it with other foods for a while!

I've been eating a lot of salads since the weather started warming up...and this one was simple and delicious!! It's so easy to whip up salads, there's no measuring.. It's just as easy to make a salad for one, as it is for 10 people! I used lots of @australiantrusstomatoes (for flavour) and purple radish (for colour) in this one!
Adjust amounts depending on how many people you're serving!
2 tbsp dukkah
Place the salad ingredients on a serving board or large bowl (always put the greens on the bottom, and build it up with the rest of the veggies) then top with some lemon juice and dukkah! 💛 Simple and delicious 😋

Fruit salad 😛
First we make each individual batch of candy, whether it be kiwi, lemon, orange, plum and then we chop them up and keep them segregated.
Once all of the candy has cooled down and kept its shape we can mix them altogether and make our fruit salad mix.
