Food of the day is Frittata di Maccheroni: typical napoletan dish that was traditionally meant to use up all of Sunday’s leftovers. Basically a pasta omelette. —>🍳🍝 This one had macaroni pasta,
prosciutto, and mozzarella. 🇮🇹🙋🏻♀️🍴
Morning Fuel ☀️☀️ Our mornings can totally set the vibe for the day ahead. I feel like we all know that feeling of flying out the door because we’ve
b) had a super late night
c) honestly had no motivation to leave bed.
Instead of resisting the morning grind, I’ve embraced it. Because whilst I have bills to pay, getting up and going to work is a reality of life at the moment.
So prepping all my food the night before, packing both my gym bag and handbag, sets the tone for a super smooth morning.
Even setting an alarm 10 minutes earlier than usual can help relax your mornings, without the mad dash out the door.
This gives me time to sink down a warm lemon water whilst getting ready, and prep a hot cup of bone broth for the drive! #getaroundguthealth
Use your rise and shine to your advantage. Prep brekky’s that will make you want to jump out of bed! The Essence of G Kitchen has plenty of inspo, even for “Grab and Go” options for the commute into the office.
What are your morning rituals to help you set your tone and intention for the day ahead? 💛👇🏻
Couldn't help myself this morning and i had to have the Mini Frittata Stack. A stack of tomato, fetta, mushroom, spinach frittata's, served with bacon (or salmon 😎) topped with a roast vegetable hollandaise, oh my!

WHO WANTS A SLICE?! 🍕 Say hello to my new favorite meal-prep, Breakfast Pepperoni Skillet inspired by @marksissonprimal with my own little twist and substitutions, of course! .
1. turn the oven to 350. While it’s preheating...
2. sauté 1 chopped sweet potato & 1/2 chopped zucchini on pan or skillet for 5 minutes (add a big handful of spinach on top towards the end)
3. whisk eggs, 2 tbsp of nutritional yeast, a little bit of water, herbs, salt & pepper (I used 16 eggs so that each slice had around 2 eggs!) 4. pour eggs into pan on top of the veggies
5. place pepperoni on top & 1 more tbsp of nutritional yeast over everything
6. place the skillet in the oven for 15-20 minutes
7. when it’s ready, take it out. Let it cool.
8. cut into 8 slices (if you have a pizza cutter, use it because it’ll be so much easier) .
It tastes like FRICKIN’ pepperoni pizza🍕 and the best part is:
👌🏻 all of the ingredients are WHOLE FOODS 👋🏻 you can meal-prep a weeks worth of breakfast and grab a slice while running out the door! 🙌🏻 you’ll fulfill that pizza craving without pizza or cheese or bread...this is sorcery people 🧙🏻♀️
TRY IT OUT, let us know! HAPPY MONDAY!
Don't know what to #mealprep for your #breakfast? Try to make a baked #frittata 😋
Literally, anything that is "fritto" in Italian means "fried", so a frittata is usually a fried dish.
I use only veggies and eggs and bake it in the oven at 400° for about 40 mins. It is delicious, full of nutrients, and makes a perfect summer breakfast (store in refrigerator). I cut it in 6 pieces and have a slice in the morning for breakfast with a slice of #wholegrain toast. So so easy and so so good! Last week it was zucchini, this week is peppers! #nomnom#bbgweek3#bbgmealplan#bbgcommunity#sweatwithkayla
Happy #FrittataFriday! Starting this morning off with half of a very loaded small broccoli, tomato, garlic, and parmesan frittata with avocado toast topped with hemp seeds on the side.

Bacon and Veggie Frittata! 🍳 🥓
This beauty definitely hit the spot and was a total @whole30 success! Steps are below and I hope you guys have a killer Sunday! 😃
Start off by grabbing a 12 inch pan. I used my @staub_usa cast iron. Add in 3 pieces of @pedersonsfarms bacon chopped and cook on medium heat until almost cooked through, remove bacon then add in a tiny drizzle of EVOO, 1/2 a small yellow onion diced and cook up then throw in 6 aspargus pieces chopped. I used leftover cooked Asparagus so if using fresh, cook for longer in pan. Throw in a few handfuls of @organicgirl Spinach and Arugula and top with oil and salt and pepper and garlic powder. Then beat up 6 @vitalfarms eggs with a little bit of almond milk seasoned with salt and pepper. Add to pan and stir around then throw in the oven at 400 for 10 min and cook until eggs are done. Let cool then serve with some Roasted Sweet Potatoes!
