Every puppy owner wants the best for the new member of the family, and with all excitement sometimes it is hard to organize in our heads what is the most important to have before bringing a puppy home.
We prepared a list of things needed to welcome a puppy:
🐶Dog bed – for a puppy to have a private/personal space. For a puppy’s safety, when no one is home to supervise, it is better to have a crate or a playpen for at least the first couple weeks.
🐶A couple of bowls for food and water – it is preferred to have the raised dog bowls to prevent spine curvature.
🐶Age appropriate dog food – it normally has all the required nutrients in balanced amounts, but I also recommend giving cooked and raw food when time allows which can provide a variety to the dog’s diet.
🐶Toys – every kid needs something to play with, it better be toys than your shoes.
🐶Treats – important part of every training.
🐶Teeth cleaning – tooth paste+brush, and some chewable treats for teeth from a pet store.
🐶Brush and nail trim – for short coats like of a French bulldog there are a variety of glove-brushes available.
🐶Travel food/water bowls – there are different convenient styles available for those who enjoy traveling with a dog.
🐶Shampoo and ticks/flea control products
Hope these tips are helpful to our current and future puppy owners! #puppyathome_tips#frenchbulldog#frenchbulldogtoronto#frenchiestoronto#redfawnfrenchbulldog#frenchbulldogbreeder#canadafrenchies#canadadogs#frenchbulldogpuppy#puppyforsale#frenchbulldogforsale#torontopuppies
